It's perfect for me, not too many songs, the album doesn't go on for forever & I was amazed at the sound on hearing this version of the album & had to share it
The first time I listened to the album all the way through, I was a bit taken aback by this track. I expected the end of the album to be loud and flashy like the songs before, but this was just so different. So surreal. But I couldn’t dream of a better track to end on. A perfectly peaceful - yet still powerful - ending to, what in my opinion, is one of the greatest albums ever made.

These guys really knew what they were doing. The whole album is in a world of its own. Great pop music is fused with futuristic sound ideas but actually working to an older prog rock format that gives the whole album a more conceptual feel.❤
I have to say this album is a masterpiece I love the album when I first heard it on the radio my brother went out and bought the record but I was ticked off about it that he bought it first before I did but anyway this song right here kind of reminds me of Depeche Mode to hear the the keyboard Textures in it and the synthesizers as well I can imagine sitting in my room listen to the song on a warm summer night back in the 80s being a teenager again awesome awesome awesome totally Primo dude 👍🏻😊
Brings loving nostalgic tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart listening to this, and with the remastering! Driving my Mustang at high speed in the warm summer nights of 1986 with this playing as loud as possible, sun roof open, tripping up the Bruce Peninsula to a friends' remote cottage property.... stars everywhere. And my friend, this was her fave, passed so long ago. Thanks for the 'upgrade' to it :)

I love when artist just know lyrics don't make sense, yet they sound like they are super deep. "Cumpleaños chica, no hay que preocuparse" is not only wrong, as it should be "Cumpleaños, chica. No hay de que preocuparse", and still, it barely makes sense, like the rest of the lyrics. You don't need epic and deep lyrics, only the talent and skill to make it sound deep and epic to create such a gem of a song.
The first time I heard this song was 35 years ago... all this time I always wondered why it was named 'Listen'...just discovered it why:.....at Min 3:50...Roland says: ... 'Listen...'''.. beautiful song and the best selection to end the album...
I'll be honest. I love this song but at the part where they say "Cumpleanos chica, no hay que preocuparse"(5:37), I thought for years that they were saying "Let me have a chicken nugget with the soup"

Tbh, it was my mate Adam West ( no that isn't a wind up ) and myself. We got an amazing copy of the album from vinyl & then between us, we worked the sound. This is probably my favourite in terms of outcome...plus it is a killer album. I'm hoping that you really enjoyed this
@@Franklin.Ellesmere Your remaster was the only version of Big Chair I knew when I discovered this album months ago! did not know what "remaster" meant. so you can take pride knowing someone bonded to Big Chair but it was YOUR version! I see the diffs when listening to the original now. Seems you made certain sound layers more quiet, to put attention on other layers. (On the original, the sound layers are more equally loud). You boosted the bass in some parts, which makes the music sound more deeper and authoritative....You also decreased the echoing, so it sounds more direct...in the original, it sometimes sounds like the music is being played in a tunnel or coming down from the sky. I enjoy both. Bravo & cheers

The sound with this video is UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE
The whole album turned out beautifully & all from vinyl!!!
The intro has a similar melody to Phil Collins' Against all odds...Very nice.
Now I gotta listen to this shit. Great. I’ll roll another one, Ray.
