She’s certainly way more involved than we will ever know, sadly. Do I think she had a hand in the children’s death? No. She seemed genuinely concerned for JJ when he was missing. Do I think she had an idea that there was a strong possibility that Lori may hurt them? Yes. To the extent of murder? I don’t think so.

Totally agree. Prior is so full of himself. When he can’t even use the most basic projector, words to the effect, ‘I’m a lawyer not an audio visual person’. He often has a dismissive tone in his voice. So over Prior.

Prior is attacking the witnesses to deflect from the accused. Bottom line. None of the witnesses killed Tammie Daybell, JJ, or Tylie. During Melanie Gibbs phone call to Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell was complicit by virtue of his silence about where JJ was.

Why can’t Prior just ask a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ question? NOT ‘Would you agree with that?’ ‘Is that fair?’ etc, etc. In addition to speaking over witnesses AND EVEN THE JUDGE, although admonished by the judge a number of times. In addition, his ‘What I am having trouble with’, ‘I am confused’ etc. Prior also tries to appear likeable by cracking a few lame jokes. Sooooooooo annoying 😡

He has made no friends with the jury for sure but remember, he wanted out of this case, so I wonder if he cares about a thing. THAT would worry me if I were Chad ...that the person defending me is already pissed that he's not getting paid.
@aimeefriedman822 ... I have no love of John Pryor (he appears to be a sexist jerk who was himself taken to court for sexual harassment), but to be fair, he did not ask to be taken off the case. Pryor specifically requested that he be allowed to stay on Chad's case, but as the secondary representative in a two-lawyer team. This was for two reasons, the most important being Pryor's lack of qualification: he claims he cannot effectively represent any client in a death-penalty case, since he lacks the usual experience lawyers typically have before participating in death-penalty cases. He wants the state to choose a "death-penalty certificated" lawyer to take over as the primary representative in Chad's case.
However, there is a limited pool of state defenders qualified for such cases, and none of them are available. Therefore, the judge made the executive decision that Pryor, in light of his history of being Chad's legal representative since the start of his shenanigans, would have to remain Chad's primary and sole defender. In other words, Pryor was told to "simply do his best."
The second reason Pryor asked to withdraw was a financial one: Chad could no longer afford to pay for his legal defense, and I certainly can't blame Pryor for wanting to be paid. I don't know how the law works in such situations, but Chad's lack of funds was apparently an insufficient reason to replace Pryor, so I guess judges can "force" lawyers to represent a client if a better alternative is lacking or would be actively detrimental to the accused's defense. I assume Pryor is instead being paid by the state, but I don't know for sure.
@@vanessarenmd7010 HE did. A few weeks ago he said he was going broke and couldn't possibly go on without getting paid and the Prosecution having so much more ability to funds that could help THEIR case, but not his.

Prior might be an awful person but he’s experienced enough to understand the basic rules of cross examination. Yet he continually steps over the line. He’s trying to get the narrative in without Chad having to testify. I hope the jury see through this bs

Their breaks are too long. I like how the court for the Apple River murder took 5, sometimes 10 minutes, for bathroom and had lunch delivered so they ate there and right back to court.
And they started early and stayed late. They need to let these jurors get back to their lives as quickly as possible.
This woman has been complicit this whole time. She knew everything why she is not being tried as well is beyond me.
Because simply knowing about a crime doesn't make you an accomplice to it. Otherwise, every person in a cult could be convicted of something the leader does, just by having knowledge of it.

@@ccole99 That still doesn't implicate her criminally. Maybe she lied, maybe she misled people in interviews, maybe she knew about all these crimes. The fact of the matter is that there really isn't enough evidence to say she commited these crimes or aided in them in any substantial way. I don't think she's 100% honest but just because someone's weaseling, doesn't mean they murdered children. She could simply be ashamed of letting herself be so fooled by Chad and struggling to admit that publicly. We just don't know.
@@katego370 you do know that Arizona said charges still may be coming to co-conspirators!!! Don’t care about the interviews. I care about that. She led to the cops at first, and she came clean in enough time for them to not charge her in this particular case.

Her testimony is not at all the way she was acting and speaking prior to Chads trial!! She knows way more than she is saying........she is only trying to protect her own hide from going to prison!!!!!!
