Man it actually feels like race day now, attention to detail on facial scans, the anthem and fly over, the shake of the cars. Accurate race suits. I’m buying this now, thanks for the video !!
Alot of reviewers are saying ots utter garbage like heat saying its full of bugs i have already pre ordered two weeks ago I love racing games I play alongside my son I hope its money well worth it

@@Jakereisman11111 what had happened was this is all I saw at the time, but then I saw more videos surface and realized it’s a dumpster fire, no stages, no race setups, buggy as all hell. I just saw the new cinematic and went “wow what a cool new look” didn’t realize the core gameplay was ass, hopefully Motorsport games listens to people and fixes the multitude of issues.
When you go to the hood view, it really looks like you’re actually in the race because of all the bumping and stuff. It looks like what it would look like in the real races when they show from the hood cam.

The only thing I’d complain about are the big ones. I wish the cars would spin and react to them, instead of driving through you, sn degenerate driving off like nothing happened. I wish they’d actually spin.

OMG THE REPLAY SYSTEM IS AMAZING
I was always mad when I couldn’t spectate any car, and I was really mad when they took out the option to only have the track camera on.

I've been really holding out hope for this game and let me say this. This is the start of a new Era of nascar games, this game was never gonna be perfect and it's not even fully finished and patched yet, so don't judge too quickly. Also if you don't want it it's your loss, have fun playing heat 5 for another year.
Whenever a new company makes a game there are normally a lot of trial and error that normally ends up being error but this right here is just unbelievable

This game "looks" good. That is all, it's another dumb arcade game that a 6 year old who understands how a controller works can play. I'm not impressed, we need another Nascar 15.
Hell, I thought F1 2021 was a disaster but this is even worse.

@@JacobStevens13 Compared to HEAT, this is a serious step up between looks, AI, handling, and seemingly physics. OF COURSE F1 2021 beats this out, because F1 games have had a much more capable team behind the game. This is coming from the same team that worked on HEAT, so they're trying to change around some aspects to give people the racing game they want without making it absurdly complicated.
I don't expect F1 2021 level, I never did, but this is certainly a step in the right direction for the games *to get towards that level.*
This gameplay is going to be extremely helpful for me since we have the same wheel.
Definitely a lot of work to be done to this series going forward, but looks like it may be a solid base to build from.

As a fan who got started on the old papyrus games the heat serious was a brutal time period for nascar games. Beyond happy with the way this looks. Hopefully custom setups will come down the line too

Would really like to see at least one race at every track, particularly at maybe Martinsville and Watkins Glen. Maybe COTA. Variety would help.
I am in love with the crash physics
While this isn't surpassing the Nascar 03 game, I feel like this game right here is way better than what I have seen from the Heat series for the damage model. The AI reaction to the crashes... I'm baffled from how bizarre the crashes got but also nostalgic because it reminded me of Nascar 94 and some of the quirkiness you could get into while wrecking the AI and then just to watch the replay of it. Honestly, It looks like we're headed back in the proper direction. Yes improvements are needed but I feel like we finally found second gear with out grinding when we shift (The devs and Publisher started listening to the fans again.) Graphics wise I think this game does look appealing. Although something that bugged me was not having the track map or a damage indicator to tell you what is going in with the car and maybe the devs did that on purpose to make it more immersive and give us more of an authentic feel.
Tam hat big crash at the end looked physically pain full and the sounds just make It more better
Gameplay absolutely nothing like the other vids, I believe everyone else has an old version of this game compared to yours. This video did it right, and I'm still hyped for 21
I think the crash graphics are awesome and brings me back to the Inside Line days.

When there is a caution, do you maunally line up behind the pace car like in iracing or f1, or is it like nh5 where the game takes over and you skip forward to the restart

The replay mode actually looks like actual cameras from a race I will be using that a lot and the graphics are amazing

If you go down pit road with damage and choose to repair it sometimes they will cut pieces of the car or use different tools

I love the replay system just like u watching it on tv.. This might b the 2k of Nascar games
there’s a lot of new stuff that heat never had which is great for quality of life but there’s also a lot of basic stuff missing like only having cup, not being able to create private lobby’s, no track map, and a lot less tuning options, so im kind of at odds with it but i am hopeful.
