I appreciate the way Val tries to understand her. Normani will always be shy but I hope she can open up. I want her to share/show things that are intrinsic and unique to her. I think it would be cool if when someone said "Normani" people would think of her weirdo laugh when she finds something extremely funny. Her love of Hello Kitty, and none of the other characters. (Idgi but I like when people like things idg.) Her Jim from the Office looks to camera sometimes. (All of her different types of looks to camera actually.) Her cute shy person things. The intellectual things she says when she's comfortable and not trying too hard.

I think Val knows about Normani getting racially cyberbullied, im sure she told him about that or he could have looked it up. Im sure he understands why its hard for her to open up because of what happened last year but I think she is doing a fine job of being open and she is really not shy when she dances at all, she brings great personality.
Normani is confident but im sure its still alot of hurt there. Being the only black female in a group and being treated differently can be stressful for anyone and on top of that being insulted on your looks and your skin color is even worse. Its really messed up she had to go through all that racism from people who were suppose to be her fans.
I was an emotional wreck after watching the performance.

Kim G French Oh. I didn't mean for my comments to come across as hate for Val because I do like him. He is one of my favorite male dancers on DWTS. I don't know him personally and I've never met him. He could be the sweetest guy ever and any woman would be lucky to have him. It is a plus that he is on good terms with all of his exes who were on this show. That means Val knows how to end relationships with his exes in an amicable and kosher manner. The fact is that I'm not even a Normani or 5th Harmony super fan. I'm a 29 year old African American woman who is putting things into a perspective as I want to look out for another like Normani since she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She has a lot of things going for her and I think her and just women in general who are in the spotlight need to be extra careful with who they date and even hook up with. I will say that I don't think Val would bring in some crazy & ridiculous scandal into her life because he is pretty successful himself and is quite busy with the show and wouldn't have the time to mess up her life. Normani is a grown woman and if she wants to date or hook up with Val then that's her business. That's also Val's business too. :)))

ritika sharma She audition as a solo artist on the X factor in 2012 however she was almost eliminate along with some other people including the girls of fifth Harmony so one of the judges put her and 4 other people in a group and the song that she performed to was the very first song that they ever did together and if you are talking about how Normani always saying the girls helped her through a lot...one of the biggest things is throughout the years Normani has received probably the most hate from people than the other members because of her skin color especially in 2016
