I'm sad that many animatronics that used to be in Splash Mountain that were also in another defunct attraction America Sings are gone and are scrapped.
Yes, hopefully some make it in the Disneyland version! 🤞
@@FM7Studios Maybe they will,maybe they won't.
Im kinda surprised they didn't use the old Splash Mountain frogs
It is sad, but it was time for a change…
They were literally falling apart!
@@christophercervantes5753 You could be right.
I wonder how long those figures of the Bear, Fox, and Rabbit will stay? I bet you some jackass will complain that they're insensitive and there they go.
I wished the animal animatronics had more movement and blinked like the splash mountain animatronics but I really don’t know what was in Disneys head to close their most popular attraction
I agree, I wish at the very least they would have reused some of the animatronics from Splash!
I previewed Tiana earlier, it was good. 7/10, but Splash Mountain is still better!
That’s what I’ve been hearing! 🤔
Agree. Splash will always be 100% better.
It now a tiana ride
@@glamrockfoxy6667I know sad 😔
@@FM7Studiosit’s so much better the tianas boring log ride
Bro, even the testing signs had more detail on them then Tianas 😑
😅 Ha, very true.
Also I really miss the old splash mountain it just should stay I really wanna see what they do with it but I'm really sad I only been on it once
At least you got to ride it!
They tried to substitute Brer Rabbit 🐇 with that Bunny with the license plate!😂
I saw that l! 😅
I know
I only pray that the Splash Mountain in Tokyo remains untouched, which is honestly the best one.
It’ll premiere at the end of the month but I doubt Splash Mountain in Tokyo is going anywhere! :)
Bro, no amount of references will justify the ride's removal for me, and it being the bare minimum plus Disney's true intention with the retheme makes these "references" feel more disrespectful to me if anything
I definitely understand that perspective, I miss Splash a lot!
4:03, this animatronic is very clearly from the stages of when the story was him finding his trumpet. It’s so obvious that nearly every corner possible was cut in this attraction.
Yeah, even the new song refers to a canceled plot point of the ride. It’s a nice song but doesn’t necessarily fit.
If they decided to go with that plot thread and also brought back Dr Facilier as an apparition from the Other Side to menace Tiana and crew, this could’ve actually been a solid attraction instead of the total snoozefest it ended up being - Especially if they utilized the bombastic crescendo of "Friends on the Other Side" for the lift hill. I I’ll never stop being salty about Splash Mountain but an actually competent attraction would’ve eased the pain a good amount, this is just rubbing salt into the wound.
@@jeffreymodesitt3345 I would love to see an appearance from Dr Facilier! He’s my favorite part of the film.
Even though I never rode Tiana’s I love it Already and the music is catchy. But you forgot one Easter egg: the rabbit using a license plate as a washboard, kinda looks like Brer Rabbit but more younger
Brer Rabbit lives!
I’m glad you like Tiana’s!
Same
I know
Long Live the Briar Patch!! Tiana's is nothing compared to Splash! 🦊🐻🐰
I think they should have saved the riverboat and repurposed it for the ride. Also, they should have Dr.facilier at the top of the hill as an animatronic and as you’re going up the last hill, you hear his song and see him and then you drop right when he says I have friends on the other side and you would drop right after he says side
I would have loved to see Dr. Facilier on the lift hill!
The new lore for Tiana's Bayou Adventure is that Tiana's company (and the ride) is built into an old salt mine. Someone elsewhere pointed out that "salt mine" begins with "s" and "m" just like Splash Mountain. Is that a reference or just a stretch?
Maybe 🤔
A salt mine in Louisiana makes Tiana's ride even more racist than Splash was "considered" to be, since it is a direct reference to where slaves would work.
THAT TREE IS WHAT I WAS THINKING
The tree lives!
The Splash Mountain reference in the ride
🐰🦊🐻
Oh yeah another Easter egg video coming up on Disney Channel (How do you like my joke)
It cracked me up. 🥚
Same
I loved splash mountain I'm excited to come back becuase my aunt works at disney
Have fun when you go back!
i knew there would be references to splash mountain in tiana's bayou adventure
Thought they’d include more references to splash mountain
Maybe 🤷♂️
I do think there is one more after the exit of the ride. There is a RUclipsr named Jojo and he went on it and pointed it out. When you are walking off, there is a sign by the gift shop and it mentions something about kings carrots make good stew or something. I think his reasoning was that obviously the rabbit and carrot connection and the fact that Br'er Fox wanted to make Br'er rabbit into rabbit stew. I loved splash dearly. I am not 100% sold on Tiana's yet however these callbacks all do bring smiles to my face.
Interesting! 🤔
It now a tiana ride
@@glamrockfoxy6667 Did I say it wasn't? lol. People can like different things. Disney is known for tipping their hat to previous rides in their remakes. It's not a crime to like what was there before lol.
The font of "critter" co op is actually not splash mountain but critter country as it's 1 to 1. The colors are tho
every time Disney builds a new attraction, everyone's so hyped for it on announcement, then it turns out to be a huge disappointment, we weren't fooled by this ride, we all knew it would suck, and Disney delivered
I was hoping it was going to be good but it did disappoint.
This ride is racist trash.
They reference Avery Island salt mines where slaves worked.... like wtf? And they said Splash Mountain was racist.... yeah, okay...
The POV they released was the worst of any I've seen. I don't know what they were thinking. They didn't show the pre-ride story established in the queue. I was left to wonder - what happened to the salt mine? What happened to the 'looking for a special ingredient' storyline we'd heard before. I couldn't even see Louis in the vegetable garden at the top of the second lift. Without Mama Odie and Juju, this would be junk.
The POV isn’t great, footage of the ride from third party RUclips Channels did a better job than Disney.
Way to go Disney on contradicting yourself. Let’s re theme splash mountain because it’s “racist” and destroy anything to do with the ride and song of the south.. puts Easter eggs of splash mountain in Tiana’s re theme. Why even re theme it, when you literally are keeping song of the south alive in the re theme.. Fkn fake
My thoughts exactly. Not to mention they make references to the Avery Island salt mines where slaves worked in Louisiana. This new ride is racist af for that alone.
@@Snooziac™ yea there not so smart. But hey it’s ok right? because Tiana is an independent women and hard worker.. so it’s ok that there are slave mines. Disney logic 101.
How long will the vid be ?
5 minutes and 40 seconds! 😀
Can you post Disney mascots
This ride sucks
I haven’t been hearing the best things. 😅
Yeah it pales in comparison to Splash Mountain. Huge disappointment.
It’s a downgrade
It does sucks
Same it not good it not splash mountain anymore
Tianas sucks. There is no excitement like Splash had. No suspense as when you went up Chikapin hill
The animatronic animals dont even blink
The lack of Facilier is what ruins it. If he was in it then i guarantee it would be better. It needs a villain in the ride
Ray is dead but he is in the ride. Facilier should be too
They should’ve rethemed Tom Sawyers island in MK. They should’ve left Splash alone
I wish they at least would’ve reused some animatronics from SM in TBA
I never rode Splash Mountain at disneyland, so when I saw the official POV for Tiana Bayou's adventure, I was very impressed. Hell, I'm going to make an argument that Tiana animatronics and the finale are better than Splash Mountain. I know, I know Splash Mountain was a classic, but jesus, those animatronics had to go because they just weren't like they used to be and started failing a lot after the parks re-opened in 2020.
Even though you never rode Splash, do you think you’ll ride Tiana’s? 👀
the animatronics in tiana’s are already breaking before the official opening lol
@@LezSpringfieldyea lol 😂
@FM7Studios yes, yes I will
@@LezSpringfield I saw that, poor Louis. 😅
