When I saw Slime Amaya in store for the first time, I literally said out loud, "she looks awful!" and I think some employees heard me. 🤷♀️ I completely agree with your assessment. I did succumb to curiosity and bought the Slime Sunny, and she's okay, especially after scraping off her face glitter. But yeah, everything you said about the design, or lack thereof, rings true. It's a shame.

I'm not sure about that. I think I will just keep the Fantastic Fashion one. Looking forward of seeing a content about you giving her justice.

Yes, the reboot is absolutely awful. I think Sunny turned out the best followed by probably Skyler but I am passing so hard on the entire line tbh. The removed articulation points are also kinda a deal breaker for me, just one look at my doll shelf shows that I do really use that additional swivel leg joint for posing.... I think the non-removeable hands will also make dressing the dolls more difficult
the missing articulation bothers me too. I can rebody these current releases but doing it for every line going forward just wouldn't work. not for me, not for anyone and I hope MGA has already realized that
I love me a big forehead don’t get me wrong but her hair line is so far back it looks like she’s balding, especially if you try to style her rainbow hair infront of her face or pulled up
