Great review as usual! I got the cx-8 over sorento due to the latter having a long waiting list. However, 6 months in with the Mazda I am truly impressred. Wish I saw your video earlier so it would make the decision much easier.
dials and hard buttons for the win. Haptics and touchscreens are cool but they make changing basic things like climate control far harder than it needs to be.
bro i came home from school and this was in my driveway annd i thought it was someone else, maybe a guest but then i go for a ride in it and its my new family car !
Mazda requires servicing every 10k vs Kia's 15k km servicing. Kia has 7 years warranty vs Mazda's 5. Also, I think Sorento has front centre airbags between driver and passenger, Mazda doesn't. I agree Mazda leather is nicer - wish the Kia had brown leather. Also, Sorento colour choices are a Teutonic rainbow compared to Mazda's
@@ProductReviewCars the feel of the leather is definitely ... oohhh heaven.... but unfortunate no other option on color. Similar to the suede on the Touring SP 2022 ... Why suede ? We really wanted to settle on Touring SP, luvs everything about it but the suede is just a deal breaker. Ended up settling for Touring 2023.

Cheers! It's a brilliant machine. Sure the Sorento has some great tech and a little more space. But the CX-8 is still brilliant.
Mazda is actually more reliable than Kia or Hyundai. Japanese car is the best in reliability and quality. Good choice mate

I've seen and driven both and I prefer the Kia its a refreshed vehicle I think
