actually, they do have quite similar stories... they're very different musically, but you cannot deny the similarities in their backgrounds, lifestyles, transformation, controversies, and eventually spreading positive messages. tupac wasn't an angel, but very gifted and intelligent and was trying to turn his life around, same as x.

I hate this idea that X had a "controversial past." The most brilliant people are often the most troubled. And we're all imperfect beings in this world, the only difference is that X had a spotlight on him, so his negatives were amplified. Also, the man clearly had a difficult life, and that creates mental health issues. Fuck that. X was a philosopher and artist who touched millions of people's lives, and has literally saved countless people from actually ending their own lives. Seriously, that alone makes him a noble person who deserves infinite respect. Listen to X talk on mental health, depression, suicide, loneliness, and everything else that troubles so many people in 2021. You won't be sorry. His music was legendary, but his words are timeless.

I remember the first time I met X in 2014 at a Sunoco, we talked about kingdom hearts because he overheard me talking about the 2.5 remix coming out in October that year, we talked for awhile about Kingdom hearts and other things, he even showed me some of his music and from then on I continued to listen to his music, from meeting him in 2014 and hearing of his passing June this year it truely hurts, as if I’ve lost a close friend.

Y'all did an amazing job showing who x was as a human instead of throwing the negativity up and hindering the beautiful person that he was. He had a lot of children who looked up to him but I am 20yrs older than he is and I get so much inspiration from him and a general feeling of warmth and love when I think of what a great child he was and I wish I knew him growing up because I woulda given that beautiful spirit all the attention he desired!
