    I have lost some weight since following your suggestions. I can't purchase the food products but I will continue to eat plant base protein. This should be covered by insurance since we are CKD patients. Also, I was not clear that I had to have the products you mentioned and I did watch the video. I am not on Facebook, so do you plan to use these test results in your book?

    I asked google it's telling me I need 50 to 60 in protein because I'm active. Should I consume that much? I usually just have like 18 in protein daily.

      Thanks for your quick reply. I am looking for something solid to have for breakfast with some sort of plant based protein. I am sticking to 30 grams of protein at this time. I will have to dig around till I find something but thank you anyway.

    Hey Glen, I’ve watched your 1 hour video like 5 or 6 times already. I’ve been doing the 20 minute cardio everyday. I have 1 concern. If I weight train, won’t this raise my creatinine level?

    • @mrcraftyman
      @mrcraftyman  Год назад

      Slightly. We are not power lifting here. Before labs, dont lift for 3 days

      @@mrcraftyman Ok thanks brother. So many people feel despair when they find out they have kidney disease and the doctors all say the same old out dated thing, "it's uncurable", well either wait to die, or fight. Anyway, take care.

    • @miria81london
      @miria81london Год назад

      I lift heavy weights I did not know I had to be off for 3 days before my lá. Test, maybe my creatinine was sky high because I had no rest day before the test.

    • @steveh5882
      @steveh5882 Год назад

      @@miria81london you have find a balance when you weight lift because creatinine is a waste product that filters out thru your kidneys and urinated out so if you have ckd, then you can’t filter it out as fast, so it goes in your blood. You need more time to filter out than healthy kidneys. If you don’t weight train, you have muscle problems, but if you weight train, you put more pressure on your kidneys so you have to find a balance. Today’s science doesn’t give us a cure so we have to find our own way.

    Mr. Crafty Man, I want to congratulate you for both figuring out how to beat kidney disease and then sharing your knowledge and experience with the rest of us. I was wondering have you looked into Renafood nutritional supplements for improving kidney health, and if so do you have any opinion on its effectiveness?

    • @mrcraftyman
      @mrcraftyman  Год назад +1

      I looked into it, but the main ingredients are nothing more than vitamins A, C, and sodium.

    • @frugalsquirrel1725

      @@mrcraftyman I think the bovine kidney extract in the Renafood is supposed to provide some healing property to the kidneys. I just haven't found much information online about how this works.
