Yeah aiming for a specific spot on the backboard is probably the trickiest part of this move. Not only do you need the perfect direction but also the perfect height. Also adding to the difficulty:
      1. You're looking away from the backboard.
      2. It's a between the legs bounce pass.
      3. It's 10 feet away.

For it's era that dunk is legendary, still considered great by today's standards, and as Shaq stated he straight up couldn't replicate it.
He could've jumped for this dunk from the half court line and they'd still roast him for it just because it's funny to roast the man

@Hughes- true. So Kenny overstated. He also hyped the fact that he smacked the backboard to let people know how high he was even though it doesn’t tell people anything. If you smack the backboard on your way down from releasing your hands from the rim, it shows that you can smack the backboard after a dunk.

Youngsters don't understand that Kenny was a big deal back when programs like North Carolina kept their incredible talent for 4 years. The whole country saw him on network TV playing against Virginia or Duke in marquee matchups, season after season. In the pros he was one of the most athletic guards around. Few guys had his height or bounce in that era.
