14.50...that's shocking fish care..was enjoying the vid till then . I have seen the bottom of these nets tear with the fish in like that. And a 33lb should of had better treatment..break the net roll it and sling it before transferring to matt..if no sling at least roll the net and fully support it ..that's poor ..imagine the net ripping and you killed the fish...bad bad angling
Hello, thanks for highlighting this. I've never seen a net rip whilst transporting a fish in all my 40 years of fishing. But yes, completely understand fish safety always comes first.
Nice response..was expecting a backlash on that..I have seen it ..there was a guy on bluebell this year that its happend to .the fish hit the deck and rolled and bounced back into the lake ..lucky wasn't hurt. But the guy received a life time ban on the complex. Its not a witch hunt just a tip for future vids..good luck on the next one

What time of year was this and what was the temps?
I think it was the middle of April, temperature was probably 11-12 degrees as I remember the nights were still a bit chilly.

was thinking of going for a 48 hour session now im defo gonna book it up. Are there swims or baits that seemed to be working particularly well any advice would be a brucie. My pb is only 22lb and had a blank on a 48 hour at monks not to long ago. Tia
I've blanked twice at Monk Lakes! I think people do catch from all areas of the North Lake. Theres a channel that runs through the middle of the lake that people fish to that seems to produce the fish. The shallow end near the islands was brilliant for my friend as you've seen in the video. When the sun's out the fish will be in that shallow end! Also if your not catching make the effort to move swims. I moved 3 times before I caught!
North it's fully booked mate until December...it gets booked at the beginning of the year for all year...please somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

Great captures... But cant watch anymore from ruclips.net/video/KP4Y4FFXSFQ/видео.html ..... I allowed the first couple lifting out the water in the net but seeing this mirror with his peck all funny in the net!!! Not great angling at all!! Surprised elphicks even let you get away with that. Crazy.
We have all taken this into consideration and agree we should of collapsed the net before lifting out 👍
@@sifishes With fish that size, The net should be collapsed and then put into the sling for safe carrying to the mat. Good luck on the next one.
Great angling 👏🏼 what tactics was everyone using?
Hello, thanks for watching! We all were using pretty simple rigs. I used the Korda Heli safe (helicopter rig), a 2oz flat pear lead, with a homemade chod rig. We also used Safety bolt rigs with a normal hair rig. I think Korda call theirs 'Lead clip action pack'. I find it better to buy the packs that have everything you need. When I've bought individual items they don't always fit together!?!
