Another great installment to a library of Elder Scrolls content, to be sure. The Khajit are surely a most interesting race, and if they ever get a main title game for Elswyr, there's so much potential just waiting.
ESO has treated them with almost as much in-depth Lore as the Dunmer have received with TES 3: Morrowind
But, thats assuming Elder Scrolls 7 ever becomes a thing, and 6 as it is continues to elude us.
khajiit are one of the races I never expected myself to feel very drawn to when I first ventured into TES, and yet their lore and culture are so fascinating I find it impossible not to enjoy them

I both love and hate how positively soothing your videos are. I never INTEND to put them on as "Lore to Fall Asleep To" videos, and yet.. without fail...
(For the record, this is high praise. The absolute best quality to me when it comes to lore videos is always soothing & eloquent narration. Even depth of lore tends to play second fiddle more often than not 😅 The true peak is the rare combination of both, which you've got in spades. Gosh the intro was perfect man. Shout outs to that cat who says he misses his home dearly we all love him. One of those characters I remember from my childhood oddly enough despite him not being very significant at all I’m pretty sure he’s just one of those merchants outside Whiterun.
Drew doesn't upload often, but when he does, he's in a league of his own. The storytelling, cadence, ambiance, music, lore. It's enchanting.

Finished a day at the box factory, get home, put youtube on the telly and enjoy a Drewmora video.
I've been working on a tabletop RPG campaign for me and my friends that take place in Elsweyr during the void nights, and I've been doing extensive research into the lore of the Khajiit in order to make sure it's all as accurate as I can manage, and this video is such a well put together collection of all those scattered sources, I wish I would have had this when I started, either way this was a great refresher, thank you for your awesome work.

I remember hearing a theory somewhere that the Void Nights were also an attempt to separate Lorkhan from Akatosh so as to properly 'purify' the elven gods. As to the khajiit born during the Void Nights, it's possible they bore whatever form they took before the lunar lattice, similar to bosmer without the influence of yffre.
When drewmora posts the entire wheel aligns around him, ouroboros serpents swallow their last bite and watch, AlmSiVi shushed the daedra, and lorkan knew his work was completed.

Nah, Fudgemuppet has fallen off since Drew left. They don't seem as passionate about the content anymore. On the other hand, Drew keeps dropping great content.

Good question! I consider 'setting them back on their courses' as being guardians of the lattice, like how the dragonborn emperors are guardians of the covenant. In both cases it seems the leaders aren't infallible. The disappearance might've severed this spiritual connection. Also, to be fair, the complete disappearance of the moons/lattice is unprecedented. Could be worth a further deep dive at some point!

With moons being so important to the Khajit, does the Necromancer's Moon (what Mannimarco became after Daggerfall) not have any effects on the Khajit? You'd think adding an entire extra moon would do, you know, something, right?

I absolutely love Khajiit. They are my all time favorite race in elder scrolls. I’ve love them ever since the moment I first turned on Skyrim and made my first character, a male Khajiit warrior! I love everything about them! There lord is so interesting to me!
Khajiit are such a great race. Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls game. Since I was walking into this world/franchise as an outsider, I chose to play Skyrim as a khajiit, since it too was outsider to the land. Now I play ESO with a khajiit who is the bandaari ancestor of my Skyrim character. Now my head canon is that my Skyrim khajiit fled there to escape the Thalmor hunting him for speaking out against them, as his ESO ancestor was an eye to the Queen who fought against the racist supremacy of the Thalmor.

@@thalmoragent9344 yeah. I’ve only played through all alliance base game zones and Cragllorn so far. So unless things change after that, the base game had the Veiled Heritance who were high elf supremacists constantly trying to kill her in the base game and I and Razz had to thwart their plans. Thalmor exist already in ESO and they definitely are shady with some of their stuff that I’ve seen, but not to the level they reach in the future.
@@derekrichardson7853that's the only thing stopping me from playing eso, I last played when it was vanilla, and I didn't finish the story lines, and now with all the expansions, it would just be too overwhelming for me to pick it up again, plus I'd feel like I've missed out
@@Originalchili There's definitely a lot going on; id say compartmentalize your experience by location if you do play. I started and after a month or so fell off - there's just a lot taking place and having it all occuring simultaneously feels like it removes some of the draw if that makes sense. Like I have a full quest log and no matter how much I complete, it doesnt feel like it makes a dent.
