I tried a build like that. Sadly, in this meta, it's just not good enough. Both poison and burn builds win against this. Without shielded bushel it doesn't even really work. I hope they give us more items that make this play style actually viable.
Healing also seems so useless compared to shield. You would think that poison counters shield, so healing should be better vs poison, but in my experience healing just cannot compete with poison stacking. It's not even really close. Maybe if they had healing reduce poison/burn procs by more than 1 each tick, maybe a percentage. Maybe then it would be decent. I feel like there just isn't enough counter to poison/burn stacking except oneshotting the enemy before they can ramp.
Yes, I think a build like this would have an extremely tough time on ranked. The nice thing about play mode is you have more opportunities for fun combos and synergies instead of being forced into making the meta builds to win
