It was my first Pokémon game, and I thought it wasn’t nearly as hard as you guys say it is, but everyone plays differently so I won’t be mean, also maybe it was so easy because I got traded a shiny lvl: 100 machamp and a lvl: 100 slowking
as someone with a deep love for the fairy type and even had half of their team of that type while playing through Sun, this video is honestly amazing ! And even if I understand the Sylveon sac, it honestly hurt given that it carried me through my personal playthrough...

I wish you had fought a bit harder to keep your Sylveon! It would've be the strongest unit in your team, 100%. Just one Moonblast wouldve taken down Guzma's Goliosopod without all that strategy you were forced to use! Sylveon is an absolute tank, everyone is better off for having one. :)
When I was younger, pokemom sun was my first official game I played! I ended up picking a team of only fairy types + any secondary type they had, other than salazzle. The fact you did a nuzlocke is beyond me, I struggled with Lurantis and Lusamine heavily, so huge props to you!! From my memory, my team was Primarina, Alolan Ninetales, Ribombee, Sylveon, Whimsicott, and salazzle :)
I’m doing this exact thing right now. The nickname theme is Harry Potter names since fairies are all about magic. In my main party we have Ron weasley (togetic), hermione (kirlia), dumbledore (koffing but will be fairy when it evolves), Jenny after Jenny weasley (wigglytuff), mcgonagall (whimsicott), and Sirius (azumarill)

Tip: You could get earlier encounter in the Melemele Meadow in Cottonee, and if you're worried about having two encounters in one area, you can find Cutiefly in the northernmost grass on route 2. Thank you for the amazing nuzlocke though!
