This was fun. I love lighthouses too and live near the coast in Massachusetts. I have begun to use small 5 x 5-inch sketchbooks each dedicated to one subject in an effort to force myself to practice and repeat for more practice. I just dedicated a sketchbook to lighthouses. Thanks !
I saw this set of paints for the first time on Diane Antone RUclips channel. She is a well-known watercolor artist and also does beautiful paintings, just as you. It's beautiful.

Love it! I notice you didn’t wet the palate of colors prior to painting. Do you recommend starting with dry paints/palate?
