- Phil, Jase, and the guys are full of excitement with the end of duck season and Jase’s filming of the new season of "Duck Family Treasure." Jase waits impatiently for news from his crack squad of dogs and men who are out searching for a prize. Phil couldn’t hack it for the last day of duck season, so he spent the day cooking - and is willing to part with his treasured recipe! Jase encounters an intoxicated fan and handles it pretty well, in his opinion. The scripture leads the guys to exploring the community of God and how it is irreplaceable, yet as flawed as its members are.

Amen fellas! After I heard the gospel from this podcast the Lord led me to a small church near me. I was baptized there. I am actively a member there and serve there and have met so many amazing brothers and sisters there. I'm proud and honored, and humbled to be a part of it. I agree. An actual church is crucial for growing your faith. In my opinion.

Same thing happened to me this time last year. I enjoy seeking God and having faith in him, he always shows up and I tell everyone he takes really good care of me. I unwind at night by listening to the podcast. I was wondering if you do a weekly bible study? It sounds like you do, but if you don't, I recommend it because we talk about the action quite a bit and it opens my eyes and heart to possibilities for sharing the Lord and ways I can show love to everyone I come in contact with. Another thing I want to share with you is that I heard on this podcast Jase only listens to worship music. I listen to worship music and love singing along on RUclips, it's a good way to start the day when I'm in the kitchen and during the day if I don't feel right. Its a legit addition to my life and keeps me that much more connected to the father who leads me to his glory.

We’re at the building every time it’s open but if you don’t take initiative to renew your mind everyday then you will be going backwards and forward so much you never move or grow. I’m behind on keeping up with podcasts. I have pancreatic cancer…I started chemo last year in June. Due to having a low immune system I haven’t been able to go to church. I have felt so isolated & lonely for my church family. It has broken my heart I am thankful there are online services & partook of the LORDS communion by myself during their service with them. I agree with all you’ve said. I’m post surgery now & think I will be able to return to services in a week or 2. So very thankful & hopeful to be back amongst brothers & sisters soon.
I was the youth leader in our church. I was and still tell everyone it is time to quit going to church. It's time to be the church. Actively worshipping God. We were never told to go sit in church for an hour on Sunday or even be there every time the doors are open. We have been called to be the church. Thanks guys

The older he gets the better I like him because he has slowed down and just puts the Biblical facts out plain and simple, which is how God keeps thing so simple. Would be great if Charles Stanley could be one of your guests while he is still here.
I'm a long haul truck driver who rarely gets time off to spend in a local body. Kinda tough to get into a church and be a part of it when you are out on the road weeks at a stretch. I watch a lot of online church as well as podcasts and different Christian organizations as well as reading my Bible and a devotional every morning.

For Fellowship which Motivates
I don't own a car & am disabled. Am I supposed to walk the half mile to the nearest church? My church merged with another church & moved 11 miles away from me. That's way too far to walk.
Someone from the church should be willing to give you a ride to and from services , call and ask your eldership.
for those of us who have compromised immunities, online services are our best option. Let everyone decide how to worship
With great respect and from a person with a compromised immune system. Scripture tells us clearly how to worship.

Personally I don't see this podcast as a church. This is more of a bible study with sound doctrine. For people looking or seeking a church to attend to this podcast could lead them towards this model of teaching.
When I'm short on time as I am quite often this is a great supplement for me not reading but listening to be fed.

Many started watching online services during the “pandemic” and will never come back, because they’d rather not bother with leaving their home, on Sunday morning. That’s the biggest issue.
Unfortunately.. I did a bit of a pilgrimage in my own town and never found fellowship with other believers.. I didn't fit.. Never felt at home and even asked for help many times and was lost in a sea of people. Online, I've managed to fellowship, pray with others, work for good causes and minister.. :( I've learned more about our Lord, Fellowshipping with people across the world, than I ever did.. in a physical church. I suppose, It really depends on the church and the place..

We are chosen IN CHRIST. The plan of salvation was predestined for us to be part of the chosen/elect when you have faith in Christ. Have faith in Christ = chosen
God is Alpha and Omega, beginning and end. He is not constrained to time like our mortal bodies are. He knows everything and sees everything that has happened, is currently happening, and will happen. So He knows who has been saved, is saved, and will be saved. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 and 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God desires all of us to be saved. Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved. He gives us free will, and desires that all of us be saved, but because of who He is, He also knows that not everyone will be. This is just my take on it.

You have to figure in the infirmed and the disabled that make it very difficult to attend regular services.
Please continue to pray for me. The Social Security worker is making me wait on being reestablished my pay and medical coverage even though I provided proof I should get it as she requested. She's had my info for several weeks and held up my money for February. As I wrote ya'll before she would not put in my correct bank account so the checks could be auto deposited back in October when I first started calling. Iam disabled and can't work I need that money!!

I appreciate you for coming in to do the podcast Jase! Sounds so exciting. I hope they find the black mallard to mount. I sure do miss having mallard ducks to eat. Such fond memories of holidays with duck and dressing, to die for, baked to perfection by my Grannie or my mother. I never got to have ducks as an adult...even though there was always some duck hunter that would promise to bring me some. Very disappointing for sure. I remember well how to cook them with dressing and how mother would cut apples up to put in the cavity of the ducks. Grannie made them with apple and onion...and hers was the best! My daddy was always out for duck season. It was his passion like you all. I wish he'd left me his old duck calls. His nasty wife probably through them in the trash...all of his things. He did not choose well for that marriage, as she was a user and abuser and threw him away to die alone from cancer. Took him away from my husband and I towards the end of his life. But I thank God I got to have him for over 2 years to care for him and to get to really know him. He was like my hero as a child, but he wasn't the person I thought he was. We got the chance to face many things that gave us both closure. And I was so honored to get to give my testimony to my daddy and little by little he got more and more interested in God and salvation. It took so much patience from me! The Holy Spirit was at work through us both and praise Jesus daddy asked for Jesus to come into his heart and save him. And he followed my instruction...a miracle! And told me that morning what he had done and called his wife and tried to tell her what happened to him, to give her the good news. But she was not open to the message. She was disrespectful to him about his testimony. God forgive her and as much as I don't care for her, I do hope she gets saved before it's too late. I talk too much, sry. God bless you all and thank you!
Some of us are homebound d/t health issues and going out to church, to even find the right church to go to, is impossible for me. I once found a wonderful little church family and I loved going. My husband saw the changes and excitement in me and started going with me. He and I were so at home and loved our church family and the experiences we had there. Then our pastor was arrested for pedophilia, unbelievable. Now my husband is dead set against going to church or watching it on tv. Lost his trust in organized religion. I was blessed to still have my spiritual mom and dad that met every Tues. for bible study/church. But Bill didn't feel comfortable going there with me. Though he dearly loved them and would call and pray and talk with my dad. I miss them so and can't wait to get Home to Heaven to be reunited with Jesus and all my family there.

I have listened through to 38:12, and I may have missed this reference, but I am reminded of "Hebrews 10:23-25 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Is this referring to gathering as a church body? I see some interpret this as not falling away from believing in the "gathering together with Christ for eternity". Thoughts?

I don’t go to church anymore; but where I live they are not Christ centered above the dogma and politics of man. When I find one I will go again. But that isn’t to say I don’t join with others for Bible Study, charity work, etc.
I live in PA and have 2 different churches where one has 2 preachers that preach politics and tell you how to think and vote and have the congregation fighting, then there is another church that you have to walk past armed guards to go into the church. Does not make you feel real welcome to God's church. What you do then?
You gotta too keep on walking ,keep on walking, walking in the light of the Lord. You’ll get to heaven some day better stay in the right way. As the song says. Keep looking.
There are believers right now in other parts of the world meeting in underground churches against the threat of physical persecution. Though churches are flawed, we are so blessed to be able to freely worship here in the US. God has somewhere for you. I pray that you’ll allow God to lead you to a church family.
