To a degree I dont agree with Rick about not participating in the combine. If I was a top tier talent, I could do nothing but hurt myself by going to the combine. If I fall some picks because I didnt show up for the combine, I just fall to a little better team at worst. I would show up for the physicals and interviews, but I wouldnt do anything physical. They have 3-4 years of footage to look at.
Selfish attitude…. Marvin is the best wr in this class. Without a doubt . I promise he talking to teams and sending physicals privately. Him doing this drill can only bring down. If he falls , drop pass, or gt hurt.

Events like these can really highlight the hard work, dedication, and talent of the athletes, showcasing their strengths and areas for improvement. It's important to remember that every player has a unique journey, and performances at combines are just one step in their professional path. These test dont mean shit watch the film, teams will miss out on great players cause they put to much stock into test #s when the film tells you the player is Bigtime just like last yr with Stroud and that stupid test... 40 speed and game speed are 2 different things, if you know you know, I also see the RB from Texas Keilan Robinson being a HUGE sleeper, dude did nothing in college but could be a player that plays a lot better in the NFL, yeah I know thats weird
Combine is funny. You can run a 4.2 at combine. You can hit every WR in stride. You can catch every ball thrown to you. You can tackle every bag. But what happens when pads and helmets are on. What happens when a DB bumps you at the line of scrimmage. What happens when a DE is running at you full stride. What happens when the wind is blowing right to left at 25 MPH and the crowd is so loud you can’t hear yourself think. What happens when the object your trying to tackle stiff arms you. This is a waste. Turn the tape on and do your homework. Stop starring at men in tights.
Been high on Xavier Legette for a while now. Think he can sneak into the first round, maybe to someone like the Bills # 28, him or Adonai Mitchell, possibly even Worthy now that he's shown that kind of speed.

Ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun is it Rick?😂😂 The players need to continue exercise their options like these GMs do and not participate if they don’t want at the combine.
The only reason why the Columbine was put together is to make money for you why people like you. Them not participating in the Columbine doesn't mean anything considering that they already have a resume that they've shown what is throwing the ball in an unrealistic situation have anything to do with a real NFL game ⁉️🤦🏾♂️
“Maybe I’m old school but you’re supposed to treat this like a job interview” So why did he come in Rick? “Well he got measured and interviewed with teams later” Dudes are just annoyed they don’t get to talk about a speech or catches on the field. He interviewed with teams and more than likely came in and got his medical done. That’s plenty.
The take about the value of performing at the combine is ancient. It ignores the commercialization of the combine by emphasizing the core purpose of it. Its like watching a football game with one eye covered.
The pro day offers more time for them to put their best foot forward. People hate when you have a choice and don’t choose the option people want. If they’re fine with whatever consequences (draft stock) then what’s the issue.
Harrison and Williams both showed their attitudes this weekend. I truly believe Williams will be a bust and not have the career that most scouts think he will. MHJ will be fine in his NFL career, but I truly think Neighbors is going to be the steal of this draft.
The top draft prospects have nothing to gain by participating in the NFL Combine and have everything to lose. It is antiquated to think that all players should participate in the Combine. It is a similar situation (prior to the change in the CFB Playoffs) for the top teams to play in the conference championship game. Look at what happened to Georgia, losing to Alabama and knocking themselves out of the playoffs.
These kids are making a smart decision by not throwing etc. Because they have everything to lose and really nothing to gain. If you have a bad combine you can fall in the draft in lose out on millions of dollars.
It's getting harder to screw up WR picks, lol. NFL staffs need to make sure they keep up. Jets are going to have a field day no matter when we pick one ✈️

It’s a PLAYER event and they have the right to make their decisions. And it’s not just an interview for the players. The same for the coaches and Franchise too.
It’s a player event. Really? How come you have to be invited then. You cant invite yourself dummy
What a thrilling time for sports fans! The NFL Combine always brings out incredible talent, showcasing the hard work and dedication of these athletes. Whether it's the running backs showing off their speed and agility, the wide receivers demonstrating their catching skills and route running, or the quarterbacks displaying their arm strength and accuracy, there's so much to get excited about. It's inspiring to see how each player brings their unique strengths to the table, pushing their limits to impress scouts and fans alike. Here's to all the athletes who participated-winning isn't just about the numbers, but also about the heart and effort you put into every moment on the field. Keep aiming high and pursuing your dreams with that incredible determination!
Rick Spielman is a former GM for a reason. He thinks Mitchell didn't have much of an impact at Georgia, and I heard him in another interview talk about how much he loved "Michael Thomas, Jr." from LSU. The guy is lazy.
It's always exhilarating to follow the NFL Combine, isn't it? The dedication and hard work these athletes put into showcasing their skills in front of scouts and fans alike is truly commendable. Whether they're running backs, wide receivers, or quarterbacks, each participant has a unique opportunity to shine and potentially elevate their draft stock. It's a pivotal moment for many, marking a significant step in their journey to achieving their professional dreams. Let's keep cheering for all these talented individuals as they pursue their goals with such passion and determination!
It’s a prospect’s right, Rick
Why is Ryan Wilson sitting like that 😂😂😂
Poorly designed chair.
Knees higher than hips = back killer
That guy always had sweet mannerisms
Ryan Wilson looks quite effeminate sitting like that. Very hard to take him seriously

Listening to Rick talk makes me realize why he’s no longer an NFL GM.
Can’t blame some of these guys for not participating…there is always some negativity that teams or scouts put out on some players.
Selfish attitude…. Marvin is the best wr in this class. Without a doubt . I promise he talking to teams and sending physicals privately. Him doing this drill can only bring down. If he falls , drop pass, or gt hurt.
i coached Audric Estyme on youth football . He was always a beast . the forty times means nothing still has a 80 yd touchdown run against NC state
Dude ran 4.39 at 225 lbs. Sports are getting ridiculous.
It's always exciting to see how players perform at the NFL Combine, especially across key positions like running back, wide receiver, and quarterback. Events like these can really highlight the hard work, dedication, and talent of the athletes, showcasing their strengths and areas for improvement. It's important to remember that every player has a unique journey, and performances at combines are just one step in their professional path. It's impressive to see how these athletes prepare and handle the pressure of such a significant event, and it serves as a reminder of the perseverance and resilience required to compete at such a high level. Here's to all the participants, for their achievements and the exciting careers ahead of them!
Ladd Mconkey is the sleeper. Kid is a baller.
One of my favorites in this draft.
If your a top 5 pick why would you go? You can only drop
The Top 3 spots still may shuffle.
Alpha males will chase the #1 spot because competition is ingrained in them. M.H. Jr has zero to gain.
So you don’t have to go to the bears or cards lol
@@nomarxistspls90 that’s silly if anything this is probably the best time to go to the bears
@@rollinndeep3061 sure but you’d far prefer to go to an actual contender like the chiefs, 49ers, etc than some trash like the bears or pats
Dillion johnson ran a 4.6 after 2 months of recovery time for his insane leg injury. Dude will prevail
See there when Spielman ws talking about Jayden Daniels he said "just step on the scale, so we can see your weight, it wont affect your draft stock, just do what we ask you to do". Thats the problem this is that I own you mentality from these teams and executives, this is a new breed of athlete, they better get used to it.
Ong spielman just be talking
Xavier could have an AJ brown/DK Metcalf early alcareer if he gets with the right OC
I think Legette is a bit better than DK was at same point of careers.
I’m hoping my Lions draft him.
@alschbachb please naaah, I'm a vikings fan and yall have Jameson Williams and amon ra, lord help me if yall get either of the xaviers in the that offense I give up
Leggette is a worry look at his senior bowl and production in college it all happened in the last year he is a viable bust candidate
@@consumer-1147yep he did not do good in senior

Fully support MHJ. Working out will only hurt his draft stock so why do it? These talking heads should shut their mouths
bc who wants to go to Arizona
As a Texas fan we would love to have Mitchell back
It's always exciting to see how the combine can shake things up for prospects, isn't it? Here's to all the prospects, for chasing their dreams with such passion and dedication! 🏈🌟
I have a Spielman jersey when he played for the Bills, still wear it.
It was hard to recognize him. Makes me feel old.
Seems like yesterday he was a beast
That was Chris Spielman, not the same guy
My boy Audric Estime ran a 4.71 😭
He will be a workhorse back
we were all ready to call him Audric Bestime, but now we'll just call him Audric Damnthatsaslowtime.
Keenan Allen also ran a 4.71. I think he’s been just fine. 40s aren’t everything
@@OS365-yy4ymhe’s a wideout there’s a difference of evaluating
@@mkingadiffernce exactly. 40s are even more important for receivers😂😂
Why do this before everyone has ran and everyone has thrown lol? Worthy would be the nr 1 standout if they'd actually seen everyone.
This class has a lot of good QBs, RBs, and WR it’s deeeeep
Spielman can’t talk on QBs with his record so have to tune him out on that part
Rick Spielmans grandparents definitely owned a plantation😂
🤣😂😭😭😂🤣
Been high on Xavier Legette for a while now. Think he can sneak into the first round, maybe to someone like the Bills # 28, him or Adonai Mitchell, possibly even Worthy now that he's shown that kind of speed.
My guy baby Ray. Love this young man #Fillmoe7
10:52 Ultimately the players hurt their own draft capital by not participating in the combine. 🤷🏾♂️
Xavier Worthy definitely helped his draft capital! 😐
Ryan Wilson has some sugar in his tank
I am biased, but I said Benson was the best RB in college and NFL ready. 4.3? Didnt know he was that fast. He breaks tackles.
WR and Offensive line is super deep
Keon Coleman you are a Raven
Good for Harrison. It’s funny they are saying he’s selfish when his teammates won’t say the same he has spent 3 years playing with.
lol the combine is back already? Dang I’m getting old
M H Jr. is a lock for Top 4.
Why risk a Hamstring injury?
Xavier Legette 😤 Cmon Ravens 🐦⬛
So what did you think of Penix, McCartney and Rattler?
AD Mitchell didn’t have a big impact at UGA? Breakout Texas player? Are you fucking kidding me? He had two of the biggest catches in UGA history.
Ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun is it Rick?😂😂 The players need to continue exercise their options like these GMs do and not participate if they don’t want at the combine.
We are at 7 if we can get to where he Marvin Harrison Jr. is there. I’m sold.
How is it selfish? They are trying to not get hurt in a meaningless exhibition. That’s smart to me.
How are you gonna do a winners and loser segment before the second WR group runs and X. Worthy runs a 4.21… smh
“Maybe I’m old school but you’re supposed to treat this like a job interview”
So why did he come in Rick?
“Well he got measured and interviewed with teams later”
Dudes are just annoyed they don’t get to talk about a speech or catches on the field. He interviewed with teams and more than likely came in and got his medical done. That’s plenty.
The take about the value of performing at the combine is ancient. It ignores the commercialization of the combine by emphasizing the core purpose of it. Its like watching a football game with one eye covered.
He said they want to see them throw while their here. News flash you got a whole season of tape seeing them throw.
The pro day offers more time for them to put their best foot forward. People hate when you have a choice and don’t choose the option people want. If they’re fine with whatever consequences (draft stock) then what’s the issue.
Ray Davis will be a beast.
Harrison and Williams both showed their attitudes this weekend.
I truly believe Williams will be a bust and not have the career that most scouts think he will.
MHJ will be fine in his NFL career, but I truly think Neighbors is going to be the steal of this draft.
The establishment doesn't like it when young African American men think for themselves.
Stop with the race card BS. These teams are risking millions of dollars. They deserve to know as much as they can.
Marvin Juniors father told him not to do the drills
Legette as good as Marvin Harrison Jr
Rb: Jaylen wright
The top draft prospects have nothing to gain by participating in the NFL Combine and have everything to lose. It is antiquated to think that all players should participate in the Combine. It is a similar situation (prior to the change in the CFB Playoffs) for the top teams to play in the conference championship game. Look at what happened to Georgia, losing to Alabama and knocking themselves out of the playoffs.
Dillon Johnson gonna be a steal in the draft
So how about that the player's test scores get leaked? That's really professional
Medicals are one thing, but if a player has nothing to gain and everything to lose, I don't blame them for not participating.
Stock going down because of a combine is stupid just watch the damn tape
