I was the booking clerk @ MP from 1965-68. Really enjoyed seeing the station. I have written an article in Nov 2024 NewsRail mgazine on my time at the station. The school you went to was MP West. I attended there 1951-56 and had to cross that footbridge everyday.
Another great Vlog, a railway station, that I’m not familiar with at all , but looks very historic, and the metro train in this video, looks out of place! Pity you couldn’t get a view of the station with a steam train passing! Cheers from Downunder 🦘🦘🦘❤️🇦🇺
Yeah very interesting video that will be part of my description when I get the eventually doing suburban railway and trains and also to the advertising on the station you don't see that much now these days

Good Video - Shared/Scheduled
thanks 👍
You need to do some videos on the historic stations on the Fawkner/Upfield line before they're demolished to make way for a 'sky rail'.
I used to live in the area for a few months 😊1989
me too, spent 6 months in the area (1969-1970) before the family moved to Murrumbeena - Victoria
Guy Fawkes night, held on the 5th November? way back in the good old days 😁

Those were the days when you ran around all day outside.
