Why is the pve not learning how to beat monsters learning their patterns, pve now is just statchecking everything with a pve build to get legendary stuff
It's kinda hard to not stat check stuff when you have 3x corrupt thunder kyrsbrutes, 2x corrupt shadow attuned bonekeeper, gale attuned bounders, etc all attacking you at once

Yeap. And that's BORING. That's why I kinda refuse to do Dilluvian at all even though I'm losing hours and hours farming things that could be way easier just spamming wave 25 dilluvian... It just not fun, for me at least, Dilluvian just doesn't fit the game proposal at all
It's okay for PvE to remain OP and there's no reason to nerf it. I'm not a PvE player myself, I've never had a PvE build, but I don't see why we'd need to nerf them. PvP and PvE exist completely separately, PvP builds get nerfed because people care, but the only reason people suggest as to why we should be nerfing PvE, is that PvP is also getting nerfed. PvP has a reason to be balanced, hopefully I don't need to explain why. But when it comes to PvE, the only person being effected is the person doing it. It's not like "overpowered" PvE builds are oneshotting actual players, they get such a disadvantage it's not funny, they exist to do PvE so they don't struggle with it. I think it's boring aswell, but if people want to be boring then just let them.
The issue with pve is the fact it’s just stats because the devs solution is to make multiple monsters jump at you the same time which in general isn’t realistically possible without stat checking them. The monsters are just not designed to be in swarms that’s the first thing they need to look into to make pve better. My solution is by categorizing the monsters then if these monsters are close by they kind of share a brain and moves,cooldown, etc that way you’re actively watching everything. But of course lag… so idk what they can do
just making the mobs have more health or do more dmg isnt going to fix anything cause at the end of the day its just gonna be a stat check. theres no nuance to fighting like 50 mobs at once cause you cant parry anything youre forced to play braindead and statcheck.
As a day 1 pve player... All these modern pve players make me really confused. Theres nothing fun about genetically engineering a build to kill chaser in 4 hits and take no damage from anything. The game is fun when you have to actually think, and fight to survive. Not turn off your brain and press m1.

If ur gonna continue pve then go 55 charisma pre shrine for chaotic charm, lasting charisma, tough love, and charismatic charm, this makes u take less dmg from mobs when u get low and deal more damage to mobs

I’d rather think of stealers as a final boss than this ape, for people who play pve exclusively that would be the end of the game cuz fucking flood guilds would always steal their loot and send em to the depth. ok guys pve rework: remove all mobs the game except mudskippers and jellyfish, make them necessary for prog,(they give little to no exp so you need like 100 to get to power 15) remove depths, add lives, thats it guys deepwoken saved

The whole point of a pve build is to make pve easy.. youre not gonna beat mechanism with a pvp build. Youre not gonna win fightsor ganks with pvp players on a pve build. The whole point is that you do the most dmg as possible to monsters

You shouldnt just be pressing a couple buttons and winning, There was a time where this game was genuinely challenging. Ngl i was always sacred of diluvian but I finally popped in with a botched non-shrine brick wall build that i was about to wipe, it only had 74 heavy and 30 ironsing not even lym or sd(it was so bad😭) i got to like wave 23 probably could’ve at least got to 25 if I actually cared. 💀

Biggest issue with pve currently is that we are prolly in the most stale meta for pve builds. Nerfed evanspear but shocker, still the best weapon for pve with enforcer only being marginally closer but still in second place. But now the absolute meta is pure stat checking. Silent heart with lose your mind is basic pve meta and it’s fuckin boring. Sure, a mage build is better. But who wants to bother going through the trouble of crafting a mage build when in less then 5 hours you can have a nearly as effective silentheart pve build up and running that is way easier to use efficiently. Shit sucks man, used to enjoy pve but I feel like I’m handicapping myself lately if I don’t automatically go 80 wp heretics sutra lose your mind and then at that point fuck it might as well just go silentheart. Huh wonder what a meta pvp build looks like? Oh wow also silentheart half the time. All these cool ass mantras but just hitting shit with damage multipliers still reigns supreme
I agree, as a d1 pve'er the pve community does get babied but we do get so MANY chances to get better loot but the pve community just needs a busted 1 shot mob builds like idk SkipperGripper's builds.

Im completely on your side man, im a freshie and i thought The game was hard because i always died to random monsters before power 10 but now that i got to power 18 the mobs have become so weak it is boring, my build is a random non shrine flame build but still demolishes bosses and monsters i think the game (atleast the bosses) should be more of the parry/roll style as it is in the start because once you get strong just spam mantras and ANY boss will be reduced to childs play
while mage builds got more burst dmg output, they're less consistent while silentheart is the same everytime, impossible to wipe in dilluvian with silentherat youjust abuse ap frames on wave 31 and u can always vent then use cpayback and heal back to full
Here is what i dont understand from the devs point of view, somehow the evanspear was unfair but a laser shooting bell that insatkills everything and full heals you is completely fair and balanced.

PvE player here. It used to be fun, it really did, the builds used to be more than just corrupt payback. idk what they did but its so boring now. The only fun you can have is trying to make the most efficient builds. Also you seeing like 3 comments of PvE players and pretending its like everyones opinion is kinda cringe dude.
I've been saying stuff like this and nobody cares. I recently did hellmode for the first time ever on my A rank build since i had nothing to lose, and i made it to 30 kills left with the shittiest build imaginable. 0% dvm, no damage mods, a goddamn darksteel greatsword, shitty lightning mantras and pressure blast, like cmon bruh i literally diddn't even know what i was doing
i commented this on the ferryman video, they should just make diluvian actually challenging even for a good pve build, instead of artificially increasing the difficulty by making it so you can get ganked by nightcrawlers and hopelessly wipe with no defense.

the insane relic rates that are currently on wave 25 should imo be moved to waves 40-50 ,since those kinda require a functioning brain , getting 4 siners in 30 minutes of farming is just not okay,also regarding astral its not even top 3 pve enchant atm .
you're trolling, umbral knight - got nerfed so its trash now, providence thorn - trash for diluvian/hell mode since you wont parry much, curse of bloodthirsty - worse version of astral, Grim - only 1 target and need some hits to activate (not consistent), vampirism might be good but with broodlords its becomes useless/you losing dmg that you could get from astral, so astral is number 1 rn for diluvian/hell mode. (diluvian/hellmode is main pve stuff rn, so saying that grim is better because on ethiron its same as astral is kinda dumb)

I agree, as a d1 pve'er the pve community does get babied but we do get so MANY chances to get better loot but the pve community just needs a busted 1 shot mob builds like idk SkipperGripper's builds.

Im completely on your side man, im a freshie and i thought The game was hard because i always died to random monsters before power 10 but now that i got to power 18 the mobs have become so weak it is boring, my build is a random non shrine flame build but still demolishes bosses and monsters i think the game (atleast the bosses) should be more of the parry/roll style as it is in the start because once you get strong just spam mantras and ANY boss will be reduced to childs play
while mage builds got more burst dmg output, they're less consistent while silentheart is the same everytime, impossible to wipe in dilluvian with silentherat youjust abuse ap frames on wave 31 and u can always vent then use cpayback and heal back to full
Here is what i dont understand from the devs point of view, somehow the evanspear was unfair but a laser shooting bell that insatkills everything and full heals you is completely fair and balanced.

PvE player here. It used to be fun, it really did, the builds used to be more than just corrupt payback. idk what they did but its so boring now. The only fun you can have is trying to make the most efficient builds. Also you seeing like 3 comments of PvE players and pretending its like everyones opinion is kinda cringe dude.
I've been saying stuff like this and nobody cares. I recently did hellmode for the first time ever on my A rank build since i had nothing to lose, and i made it to 30 kills left with the shittiest build imaginable. 0% dvm, no damage mods, a goddamn darksteel greatsword, shitty lightning mantras and pressure blast, like cmon bruh i literally diddn't even know what i was doing

i commented this on the ferryman video, they should just make diluvian actually challenging even for a good pve build, instead of artificially increasing the difficulty by making it so you can get ganked by nightcrawlers and hopelessly wipe with no defense.

well lets be real duluvian is pretty fun but if you aint having fun on it then just do nightmare mode or layer 2 or all the other bosses but ye get pretty boring later but at the same time pve is also

the insane relic rates that are currently on wave 25 should imo be moved to waves 40-50 ,since those kinda require a functioning brain , getting 4 siners in 30 minutes of farming is just not okay,also regarding astral its not even top 3 pve enchant atm .

you're trolling, umbral knight - got nerfed so its trash now, providence thorn - trash for diluvian/hell mode since you wont parry much, curse of bloodthirsty - worse version of astral, Grim - only 1 target and need some hits to activate (not consistent), vampirism might be good but with broodlords its becomes useless/you losing dmg that you could get from astral, so astral is number 1 rn for diluvian/hell mode. (diluvian/hellmode is main pve stuff rn, so saying that grim is better because on ethiron its same as astral is kinda dumb)
