Because you mentioned this in one of the last videos YOU CAN TURN THE SEAT BELT BUZZER OFF. Get in the car turn the ignition switch to the on position but don’t start the car, plug in and un plug the seatbelt 20 times within 30 seconds of turning the key to the on position, once you did that 20 times turn the ignition switch off and take they key out wait a second then put it back in and start the car. The seatbelt buzzer will do it’s first initial blinking and beeping thing but after the first few it will stop and the reminder light in the gauge cluster will go away and it’ll shut up. One of the best things about Subarus is you can turn that annoying beep off pretty easily. Like this so Robbie sees it!!!

I bought a Genny with a blown engine… best decision.. replaced the engine clutch head lights tail lights master cylinder 4 door speakers two twelves tinted the windows.. just need rims now.. also a tune I have a cold air intake in the garage. N want headers..
Go ahead and LS swap it now. If it is a 2013-2014 Genesis Coupe 2.0, you can build it to 700 to 800whp with a built engine. Most people don't realize Genesis Coupes can be sleepers. If it is a BK2 3.8, build the engine to a 4.0L and put the Remnant Peformance turbo kit on it and pray it does not blow up. These cars look cool, but the engines are not capable of high horsepower without a built engine. The 2.0 is better for boost than the 3.8. I spent 2020 until 2023 researching what the cars are capable of, and learning more about cars in general. I think I made a decision on my next car. I discovered another neat little car that rose to the top of my list as my next option. The M240i. It also has the B58. I have been researching for months now. So my next choices are a Supra, M240i, or M4. I am leaning towards the M240i because of the price, B58, and extra space. I have researched the F82 M4 and A90 Supra. Now I have discovered this neat little M240i car with the x-Drive option. I think my next car in the future will be a 2017-2020 M240i because of the price, AWD x-Drive option, it has the B58 engine, and it has the extra car space I like. I don't like the appearance of the next generation of 2 series cars. 2018-2020 are the years I will choose. I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 right now. The car is already becoming rare. Save it for the value, or sell it? Hmmm. 348 horsepower was nice to experience, but I am ready for the next level. I have never been in a turbocharged or supercharged car before.
hey robbie i would reccomend using the key from the other genny to get into acc on the red one to roll up the window, it wont start but it will allow you to get power to the windows
This makes me so freaking excited Robbie. I currently owns 3 2.0 T Genesis and owned a v6 genny too. They’re such amazing cars. I can’t wait to see you fix this and possibly even build a motor. I’m currently gathering all the parts for a big turbo swap.
@@POVCA1024 I had a 3.8 for 4 years and put over 100k kilometres on it and didn’t have to change one single part. But now I own the 2.0ts and they seem to have a few more issues but nothing major so far ! Reliable as long as you don’t beat the shit out of them

If the most you want is to put an intake and exhaust maybe a tune on it and never go for higher power then go with the 3.8 but if you like the higher HP mods like big turbo, big intercooler,big everything ,built/forged engine like I am now then i would suggest the 2.0t. I loved my 3.8 but hated I couldn’t really modify it other then intake /exhaust/some random generic tune. So I bought a stock 2.0t and it’s not as fast but 2x the fun so far hah 3.8 almost sounds like a GTR but 2.0t makes amazing turbo noises even stock

I work for an auto exporter and just bought 2 genesis coupes one is a 2010 3.8 6mt track and the other is a 2015 3.8 auto. Both wrecked one front and one rear. The 2015 will get all the parts from the 2010. And i do mean everything accept glass will get swapped over. I am excited to start on them.
You know, I didn't realize it until the last video when some of it was being referenced but, when you realized where you fell off of RUclips after documenting every little aspect of camping, off-roading and all that? It was good, but it's kinda when I started losing interest in every video you posted then and sorting through them. But this content? Legit exactly how I bought my 1993 3000gt. Window down (broken) all winter and all year. Inside wasn’t the best BUT there was so weathering done to the inside other than sun damage from sitting in the heat so much. It’s back on the road

I wouldn't swap the tranny, I'd leave it as is. Cousin had a 3.8 Grand Touring. I like these. I haven't been really putting into much effort into getting my permit, with one eye. I think I'll do that.

He said that his son owned the car, but that he'd ask him if he wants to sell it and that he'd call me to tell me his son's answer regardless of what it was, but I never got that call. LS swap? No turbo and instant power on tap. They are between $500-$900 USD depending on mileage

Shouldn't need a key to start it. Should be able to pop the lock cylinder and start it with a usb cable "Kia Boys" style...
The last time it’s had it oil change was 2018 aswell with the brakes the other owner put all brand new brakes calliper and rotors before the timing chain failed

You should get a BK2 Gen! Interior is much nicer and engine has a good bump from factory
