- Last crawl with the Bronco.., someone bugged me enough to finally let it go;)
Edit…. 450 80t is way to under powered…, played in some sand and it was gutless. I’m sure I was close to burning it out.., got pretty warm (also a hot day).
...used the same motor setup and it did fine for a trailing video. Geared low enough.., just not much torque.
Had this trx4 chassis for a while.., deleted the portals right away and it sat.
Finally got around to finishing the team raffee co hardbody. Cut the hood and rear cap…
Running the original shocks.., limited them by about 9mm.
Since removing the portals.., the gearing is very high…, so I’m using a hw1080 and cheap Amazon 80t 450 can. Seems to be a great hearing for the 2 speed. I’m guessing very close to stock.., maybe a little slower but slightly less torque from the smaller can.
Tires are 1.9 beadlocks and rc4wd 1.9 Hawk Eyes (hard to find).
Body is firmly mounted thru stock bumpers…, battery access thru cap the is held in place by magnets….

Amazing and awesome portrait Lance, thank you. A wonderful forest backdrop and so much character with this Bronco, you can't keep them all, will be missed but off to a good home, I am sure. Many thanks, the cinematography, to say the least, inspirational and aspirational. Now, what is up next I wonder, eager to see which rc truck will fill the space in the Mudder Putter, scale rc garage. A cool hardbody Landcruiser maybe or a short-wheel base Defender perhaps...speculations naturally!

Yes, they are.., the 1.55, 16 hole, 5 bolts steelies. Great eyes.., not too many people would recognize them. They leave a crazy offset..,, perfect for the wide bronco body!

what brand wheels are they??
These are boomracing 16 hole steelies, 5 bolt, 1.55., but they've been reversed; creates a lot of offset. Works well with the bronco; since it's so wide.
