It seems to be that he has an abnormal way of playing. SOmeone in the comments theorized that rather that visual queues or even audio queues, he mostly uses the background music to tell when to do an input. At 13:11, Tim reacts to the Superb in 9 frames, which translates to 0.16 seconds in real time. The average reaction time for a human is 0.25 seconds. This adds to my theory that Tim is actually an egyptian god, and not really human.
Set 8’s probably hardest imo - Rhythm Rally 2 + Blue Birds 2 + Remix 8: Faster than expected - Fillbots 2: Ridiculously long and those two bots that aren’t on-beat - Lockstep 2: Swing feel (easiest for me)

Remix 8 becomes a lot easier when you realise the timing for the rhythm rally and dog ninja is perfectly consistent and you just have to not change the rate at which you flick
Yeah, at first glance it looks pretty tough, until you realize everything in the remix repeats twice and the beginning and end are just tap on beat 1, flick on beat 2. It's not even the fastest in the game, there's a jingle in Big Rock Finish that is the fastest song in the entire series, with Remix 4 being a runner up.
I just realized, in the dog ninja/rhythm rally sections in remix 8, all the hits are on the offbeats. You just gotta tune out the dog ninja sections and pretend you're only doing rhythm rally
