This age-old question is so intrinsically woven into the fabric of our adorable human minds. Minds LOVE to worry about what other people will think. Minds tell wildly creative and compelling stories about embarrassment and humiliation. But, what if we don't need to secure ourselves, build ourselves up, and boost our confidence in an attempt to make our minds STOP asking that question: what will people think of me? What if there is a more sustainable approach?

Ah, DAVE!!!! How happy my whole heart is to see you chime in here!! And yes! Isn't it SOOOO freeing to see how completely impersonal other people's thoughts and opinions are? They are not about "us" as much as they are simple reflections of their own reality in the moment. And all of that is shifting like sinking sand on the edge of the ocean...so none of it matters one bit. Ha! Freedom. I love you, my favorite Uncle Dave!
