- In this video, I will show how to use the Cluck Cluck Sew Diagonal Seam Tape to "Snowball" the corners on my blocks. This is so much more accurate than drawing a line from corner to corner on the snowball pieces.
I will also be "Chain Piecing" to speed things up. Chain piecing is continuing to add another block without stopping after each block. So fast and so time saving!

This project is a shop sample for the quilt shop I currently work at. I would recommend this pattern for an advanced beginning to intermediate quilter due to the advanced techniques in this pattern.
However, the technique I am demonstrating in this video can be used for so many blocks that a beginning quilter can benefit from this technique.

You’re welcome 😊Thank you so much!
I bought the tape but haven’t used it. Now I will. Thanks!
Hope you like it! It has certainly been a great help to me and my projects!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you for the close-ups using the diagonal seam tape. It has helped to see that. Never thought about using the glue for this purpose.
I am glad the tip on the glue helped as well as seeing how marvelous the Diagonal Seam Tape is! Thanks for watching!
Love the fabric you are using. Can you share.
It’s midnight in the garden by Sweetfire road from moda. I just made a quilt using this line… it’s a beautiful line of fabric!!
Yes, the fabrics are Midnight in the Garden by Sweetfire Road and the background is Thatched Vanilla by Robin Pickens. Both are Moda Fabrics.
Thank you, this looks awesome!!! I’m gonna give it a go ❤️😀
Please do! Let me know how you like it!
Use an open toe foot and you will have better accuracy staying on the red line! If you skip the glue you can double sew the diagonal line half inch apart on the larger squares. After stitching cut in between the lines. You get extra half square triangles for another use.
Yes, those are good tips! Thank you!
I wish Roxanne glue baste works for me but it never does and I don't know why.
Hmm. How is it not working for you? It is not a permanent glue and will wash out. I use it for several different purposes in my sewing room for my different quilting projects. You can always use good old Elmer's school glue too!
@@quiltsaremypassion1270 I t clogs up and I can never squeeze it out. If I use it one it never works again.
I just use regular school glue in the bottle and just dot the glue on the fabric
@@kathykaplan2451 Yeah. It works really good. I got the applicator lid made to fit the Elmer glue bottle from Purple Daisy on line and it is so much more affordable. The Roxanne glue is expensive, you can't refill the bottle. Elmer's glue is starch based washes out and you can buy a great big bottle for what you pay for a small Roxanne glue bottle that isn't reusable.
I love that block 💞 I’m thinking of making my granddaughter a quilt with this pattern in all pinks since that’s her favorite color. 💞💞💞 I just bought that tape but I’ve never used it so this video is very timely. It will save me so much time by not having to draw the lines. 💃
Please let me know how you like using the tape! Thank you for watching.
