Sadly I notice apple users are very biased and don't really try to familiarize themselves with Android os before they pass judgment. Apple is very restrictive, and a customizable OS like Android seems to scare them. But they like customizable apps like procreate so it really comes down to bias. The issues you ran into were fixable on the Android. Onenote is free. And the comment that folks aren't buying samsung tablets because you tried to order it from a non official seller on Amazon is just- wow. Its ok to have preference, but trying to pass fear of change as preference isn't cute. Android is an open source os that believe in sharing, so many brands use it (samsung, Google, etc) thats why the sales aren't as obvious since Apple restricts their sales to only 1 company. Smh
Don't forget another thing about Apple which is likely a big reason that most of the planet uses Android, which is...pricing. You'll find a variety of products of different prices using Android. Samsung itself having very low to very high end phones for instance. Apple, I guess in their failure to do the same well, only has 1 phone type, which is high end, is also expensive in itself (even if it's used or renewed). All their other hardware is also super expensive, when you can get the same quality with Samsung laptops for instance for almost half the price sometimes. Apple is also a pain ITA when it comes to ease of file transfers between phones and computers. Apple REALLY tries to keep Apple users almost strictly within their own Apple Ecosystem, it's sad when a company isn't open.
When you are in your planner go to the upper right of the screen and hit the 3 dots and go to page view and you can select if you want to scroll pages left & right or scroll up and down like you did in your example. I have been using Samsung notes for many years and it is the best for importing and using digital planners with hyperlinks.
I use samsung notes also. But it has lag. I am using the galaxy tab S8+. This is a fast tablet and I have lag with the planners that I have downloaded. Do you have lag when using samsung notes?
@@haroldjordan7286 Hi Harold: I have super lag with trying to connect to Google Drive with Samsung Notes but using the actual planner is fine. I haven't noticed a lag - how big is your file? XO Lisa
Android is way superior to Apple. More control over customization/personalization. Not finding many decent planner videos on Android. Makes me think I should do a few videos. Samsung Notes, Penly, and Noteshelf are pretty decent. The 1st 2 I mentioned are even great for syncing across the Android ecosystem.
Yes, please make some videos. You can do so much with Android note apps. But if you don't know how to use them right, you miss out so many possibilities
Hi Stephanie: So glad to hear you're loving Android's planner/notes features. As an iPhone and Mac user, I'm pretty locked into the Apple universe so all of the cool syncing features across Android are lost on me. But I still love my Ultra Tablet. XO Lisa

Love it, practical to the point - I came from the video you mentioned (open and it's just there, with no mention how it got there, except to sell it) - love the tone of the channel great work! 🙏
Helpful video, thanks! I'm new to Samsung Notes, and tablets in general, and was wondering how to use digital planners on them. Regarding the scrolling mentioned in the video, you can scroll vertically or horizontally in Samsung Notes. To choose, click on the three dots and then page settings and it then it lets you choose whether you want to scroll vertically, horizontally, or 2-page horizontally. (You can also choose the background color there as well).
Hi there: I actually only use my Android for watching TV. I still find the iPad better for everyday use because it has more apps like Adobe apps, Affinity apps and integrates with my iPhone and Mac. If I were an Android phone user, I'd probably be the opposite. I do still like writing with the SamSung Tablet better. XO Lisa
Seems we speak in years lol. It's still the best device I've ever purchased. You are absolutely correct about those Adobe and Affinity apps, 😢 In still not pleased with the battery experience because of how much I use it. Tradingview and Sketch Design will eat this thing alive within 6 hours. Thankfully, the 45 watt charger speeds up that recovery.
Well, as luck would have it, I can use both and go back and forth so I don't even notice anymore. Do I need an iPad and a Tablet...probably not but I do use them both everyday. XO Lisa
You have to actually get to know the tablet and what settings to use based on how you will utilize it. The same as when you purchased your first Apple product. I'm sure you didn't just pick up your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and automatically know everything the product could do or open an app without there being a learning curve. Therefore, I'm not sure why you would not have attempted to do that on the Samsung Tab S8 Ultra before putting out this video. FYI, this is coming from a tech person who uses and has iOS, Android, and Windows products. I need them all because I need to know what's going on in the tech space and to help family and friends when needed. My overall favorite for phones and tablets is Android. Specifically Samsung. Android allows for actual customization, unlike iOS. Depending on the brand, it is usually more difficult to learn, and the reason why I always suggest an iPhone for those that aren't tech savvy or grandparents. I use my iPhone and iPad for the few apps I don't have on my Samsung devices and my dogs air tags.😅
Did you export it into penley app or pdf on Samsung. I went to download the free penley planner and thst is the first question it asked me. Not sure which to use?

Hi CS: It looks amazing - but it just doesn't work. Like it always fails or screws something up. It's possible I'm not using it correctly but glad to hear it's working well for you. XO Lisa
Hi Ro: Yes, sort of. You can definitely add typed text anywhere you want but it won't automatically create "borders" for your text like a fillable PDF. You'll have to re-size your text boxes for it. You could definitely do that but it wouldn't be the most efficient way to use a digital planner. It's really meant for writing in with a pencil. If you just want to type everything, then just stick with a laptop/computer. XO Lisa

By importing as PDF in Samsung Notes, one of the most important functions is lost. The calendar months and other pages are actually linked with hyperlinks in the document by the planner designer. This function is lost when importing as PDF in Samsung Notes. However, it is possible to load the planner as a page layout in Notes, but then it is limited to a file size of 5MB.
