i would say flame shiver or sound most kenjutsus 1st moves ideal for combo starting but but its can be bug sometimes or knockback but shiver q spec is good for combo starting sound 4nd move is good to but hard to land hope its helpful

Moon is very low ranked to most players which is super annoying bc moon is REALLY good, its op for most combos and is used mostly by actual pros, sun is very trash tho i don't really like sun,but MOON? MOON IS NOT THAT TRASH
the 1st move of sun ken is only decent. ill use my explanation for why flame ken 1st is only decent here: "doesnt deal much damage, doesn't block break, doesnt stun for long, and overall its just mediocre. it might be good compared to other kenjutsu moves, but in competitive it just doesnt do anything good enough to be considered good". to add onto it, the move basically does nothing besides provide a mid amount of mobility and combo extend, so there isnt much of a reason to use it. the 3rd move of sun ken is very bad. it doesnt block break, cant combo extend without a stun, is extremely predictable due to its long start-up, and overall theres literally no reason to use it. it provides a little mobility, but the start-up basically makes u a sitting duck. if i were to rate sun ken, id say its around C- tier. one of the better kenjutsus, but still incredibly mid. the 1st move of moon ken is only decent. i basically already explained my reasoning, but let me try to explain it in a different way. the move is on a low cool down, but its not like it provides u much. the mobility is pretty mediocre compared to the average meta move, especially since u cant fly into the air, so its main use is already pretty mid. its decent for combos, but its not exceptional at them and that still doesnt really help its case as combos are already incredibly ez to pull off. the 2nd move of moon ken is practically useless, or a tier below very bad. the fact its basically just a worse version of sun ken 3rd alone makes it very bad. it doesnt provide any mobility and does less damage than sun ken, meaning theres literally no reason to use it as u will need a long stun and/or hit the opponent with other moves in between. it isnt worth the damage it deals and its just extremely bad. moon ken's 4th move is close to being useless, but id say its only very bad because at the very least it does its damage quickly, deals more damage, and is less likely to have gaps (from what ive seen) compared to moon ken's 2nd move. if i were to rate moon ken, id say its around F+ tier. its 1st move isnt bad and its q spec is pretty solid, but holy is the rest of it absolute dog shit. its 2nd move is practically useless while its 3rd and 4th moves are very bad, so those 3 moves kind of tank the kenjutsu's score.
I would argue flame and inferno and then mist ken those have some over all good moves especially flame and inferno shiver used to be the best because the move where you teleport to them in a weird zigzag way it used to give s and catch people in the air and it autotracked had a long stun and the one thing it was missing was guardbreak but if I am not mistaken it may have bypassed block at some point which is still really good but they nerfed it to the ground and now it is ground locked pretty much and has a long startup with no s and has less range the stun time i think is left unchanged but they could have nerfed that too for all i know
