Young Carter bro, the man said he doesn’t audition and gave a side eye. I’ve heard interviews from far more accomplished actors, and they answer that question more eloquent and humble. I get it, he’s at a point where he can get roles but don’t front. There are roles he would definitely have to audition for if a bunch of a-listers are up for it. Also he super defensive, which is why he coming off the way he does.
Otis Pugh his comment on not auditioning anymore was clearly a joke, just look at his body language. He even later clearly explains that it isn’t because his big but because he wants to be careful of the roles he chooses since his slowly rising. He does audition but chooses carefully, I’ve seen his other interviews and his a lot more humble but like he said his feeling confident. I think he might be in his character a bit, it happens a lot to actors, where you kinda just start utilising traits that your character has. This always happens to me when I’m playing a role. I played Lady Bracknell one time and for months I was straight up rude and constantly mocking people only to ask myself why.

Man i gotta give the kid props. He handled this interview much better than alotta seasoned celebs. He didn't take anything too personal and was quick with his comebacks with CTG. He's confident and a lil young and arrogant but its not to the point of annoyance. I enjoyed this alot.

Thats cause Charlamagne misunderstood what he was saying. He was basically saying i don't audition mainly because i don't do that well in audittions which is the case with many actors. He's one of those actors where he has to be on an actual set to perform at his best.
