Signed up for the needle class, can’t wait
No waste - love it!
Totally ordering that book!
Good advise for the bloc lock ruler. I also have lost strength in my upper arms, just an age thing.
Nice quilt Rob.
Slotted Trimmer Ruler - would be great for your Shark Rotary Cutter. Another way to use it, I do this with my standard triangle ruler, after you trim the outer edge, flip the sewn triangle so that the point faces you, line up the 4.5" dotted line on the seam checking that the width fits your 4.5" triangle and cut off the dog ears which are the only material sticking out. I loved not hearing the sewing machine as you stitched. :) I watched the replay video. In your talk about the Block Lock ruler and shaking hands the video fuzzed out right in the center of the screen. It eventually resolved itself. Towards the end when you were giving information about the Serenity quilt from the book, the audio disappeared for about one full minute with the camera shaking, then it cleared up.
Hi from Boston, MA
Wow I love it
I love that they have an Anita!
Great demo: love my block lock. From Ohio
Hi from Marshfield Missouri
thank you
This is an awesome technique. Only suggestion I have would be to use lighter fabric with darker thread so we can see.
Would appreciate an over head camera!
Hi from Louisiana
Great demo , thank you. What happens if you start with a 10” square?
Love the show, where's your little buddy
Loved the video and the HST technique. Is there a pattern in the book for the quilt behind you? Your color remix? Thxs!

The thing about the live demos is that there is so much extra chatter. And less time devoted to the actual project. But I enjoyed this demo. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
Your book looks amazing! Will it be available in digital format in the future (for those of us living overseas)?
This is a very great Idea, we will look into this.
Rob! Check out our friend Jenny! She figured out a way to make mass production of those little half-square triangles even FASTER!!!
What kind of iron do you use
The price of quilting cotton is becoming unstainable. Good thing I have my own fabric store at home. Looked at the price of a boult of fabric at Joann's yesterday. It was &14.99 and not even a batik..
I wanted to know putting thread on my machine, does the thread on the spool come over off the spool or under. I have a singer professional one of the gray machines. Also a baby lock brillant. Thanks Rob You make great videos and are so enthusiastic all the time. Love your videos.
If I understand your question right, it comes over the top of spool or cone, up to the wire on the stand, then to your sewing machine
It's always best to refer to your sewing machine's user manual - or - the shop that sold the machine to you. Different spool holders are used depending on if you are using a cone or a spool. : )
Rob is your fabric choices sold as a kit?
sad... the class is too early in day for me, as I work 8-5pm PT.
Is the needle class only available at that specific time? If I join can I watch it at my leisure later?
Yes unfortunately
Not sure but something is different sound is not good and you freeze up very often. Equipment is off..
Are you doing Rob Appell Making ItFun?
Ok
There is no audio from 39:07 to 39:37. I think Rob was saying Stitchin Heaven is providing kits with his colorway? What else did he say? Thanks.
Yes, but he never stops talking, most is just rambling on, haha. Kits are back in stock. stitchinheaven.com/products/synergy-remix-quilt-kit
can't w for class. is there an email address to forward questions before class?

Is there a formula for different sizes? E.g., 5 inch squares makes (1) 4 1/2" HST and (2) 2 1/2" HST. Will this be in the book? There are several applications I can think of for this technique.
I usually just make the cut squares 1" larger than the finished size then from them to the exact size. Gives nice square blocks
@@MrsGraphiteGal thank you and l lve this technique. Going to give it a try.
Yes, and so sorry that I forgot to mention the Book has a great table that shows the raw and finished sizes.
I don’t see Mike in the back??
He stayed home in California on this trip.
@@StitchinHeaven Mike needs to travel too!!
Who is Mike?a person or a mascot object?
You look younger?
I Rob. Are you fully recovered from your trip? You look good. You mean I can’t use my 100 year old Singer needles.? I so love your programs. Be careful. From Bullard, Tx. This is the day that the Lord has made. 👍✝️🧵❤️🤠😎Glo
I am ready to return to Peru anytime, so yes.... mostly recovered, haha
Ok
