Let's be honest, this has to be scaring the regular motocross manufacturers. Ducati is known for ingenuity, amazing style and some top level motor technology ! It might be the spark every other manufacturer needs to take this sport to the next level🎉
Assumptions fail most of the times. Just because someone has made a motorcycle doesn't automatically mean it is great, nor that this or that rider automatically will achieve great results with it.
Put your expectations on ice and just allow things to establish themselves over time.
PS: Triumph has also announced their entry to motocross, and the same rules apply to them obviously.
Uhh Ducatis are known for spending more time in the shop than on the street. Like most things Italian it will be cool and fast but a failure in every other metric

Edit: and theyve been doing it with near perfect reliability across several seasons.

I’ll be buying it when it launches in 2025. All my road bikes are Ducati and the dirt bike is a Husqvarna. Time for another Italian.

Main question is if they’re gonna throw enough money at it to attract the top tier riders away from the more established teams. I’m sure the bike will be good especially with Antonio cairoli helping develop it.
