Damn..the second round first edit braught literal chills down my spine ...holy smokes!!!!It was the best of all 6 in my opinion and Mrittika's one was the 2nd
I think the girls should've won. The last one, the boy's edit was good but there was too much distortion and quick transitions, too much of everything can look bad as well, it would've been better if the there wasn't much distortion and blurriness, I think sometimes editors forget that they need to enhance the visuals of the characters or scenes themselves instead of showing flashy animations only, but again I would've loved it if the distortion was lesser no hard feelings, the girl's edit on the other hand I wouldn't say was that great but it was good enough to win that round as it was cleaner than the boy's edit. It was blurry as well, but still cleaner than the boy's edit so I would've given it to her.
I wasn't expecting to correctly guess all the winners but this is how i came to each conclusion. Round 1 Sling had incredible editing but failed to utilize motion graphics to really make it pop more than it already did, but mrittika not only had both in her arsenal but you could really feel the effort she put in to it, if you also edit you could tell she took her time and didn't rush. But ultimately what made sling lose was the fact he dragged on the edit whereas mrittika just went straight into it to keep you hooked. Round 2 Fury's use of the character selection menu and choosing characters who already fought just gave it more depth and then he proceeded to stimulate our senses, that's more than enough to keep people interested. But for nicha (not to sound disrespectful) it looked like she just added random overlays during the transitions and it when to fast which may do it's job in keeping people entertained but it doesn't give someone time to process what's going on and randomly adding zenitsu and tanjiro when they had nothing to do with the current scene with no slight intro was what ruined it for me. Round 3 Delta definitely reminded me of gojo a little bit and it's a bit hard to figure out whether or not he just used presets but it was the better edit overall so it did the job, Suneko's was almost perfect but it didn't have that same visual candy like delta. If delta used presets he loses but if he made it from scratch and just took some inspiration then he deserves the win. The overall best edit in my opinion is mrittika's edit. Tell them i said they all did an amazing job and they should keep editing, i really wanna learn more from them and add their skills to my own arsenal.
