My Uncle John Hagen is playing sax next to the late Cornelius Bumpus! Thanks to whoever posted this video. I saw them in concert in 1992 - front row tickets thanks to my uncle. Pays to know someone in the band! Thanks for jogging a great memory.
Love it! One of my all time favorite albums and it's great to finally see it on video. I will say this performance is maybe on a different night that the recorded album (I have it on CD). There are a few vocal inflections here that are a little bit different but man, did they do it up. All this time, I thought Michael was playing piano on this tune. Thank you for posting. This is a wonderful blast from the past. Do you have more video on this concert? If you do, please post.
Michael does a brilliant job... love his LT, nothing but Blue Eyed Soul, so one question~ Why was his version NOT included in the CD/LP, I received it as a gift.... the movie was a sensation.. and helps in the Plotline of the very sad story.... "Leaving Las Vegas", how many Oscar Nominations ?? OK... Life just isn't fair.. Michael keep on singing LT Jackie's Song, with due Respect... Jackie Wilson owns his song, MM never stop singing ...
