Best show ever on TV. A tragedy that it was cancelled. I am still in mourning. We are living in the most depressing of times. Thank you to all that made this show what it was.
Y'know, I'm a big nut for anything science fiction, and I've loved a lot of SF shows of the past, but Farscape was the very first show that was MINE. Nobody else I knew really got it, they didn't follow it, but I did. I followed the chats, I read the articles, I bought the stuff, I snapped up the DVD's the day they came out (even the first season, which came out as multi-episode sets, not as a full season). Farscape made me proud, and then it broke my heart. I'll always love this show.
Wow, thanks for putting this video up. Still today I miss Farscape. It was such a epic unique, amazing show. That brought joy to watch every episode. Even though I have the box set, I still wish for Farscape to come back & bring happiness to all its fans.
I really loved watching Farscape. So sad it's all over. I miss those guys. Every time they've got into trouble I used to thing "Wow they can't get out of this one, can they?" but they did and in a very amazing way. I hope this isn't the last trouble they've got into and the project Farscape will continue until it's real end.

Yes I know they made "The Peacekeepers War" (I have it on DVD). But at the time I wrote the letters I didn't know about it. To this day I think SCI-FI, er, syfy shot themselves in the foot. As I watch what syfy becomes it makes me sad. It seams less likely that Great shows like that of Farscape will come from the once great SCI-FI Channel.
Unfortunately money is the issue here. If I had the money I would bring this show back. Who knows maybe I will. If the Farscape series were to be held big in media sales then possibly this will happen. I appreciate and miss this show as well. Nice to know I am not the only fan. Yes there is syndication as well which I hope could trigger a new beginning of this wonderful talent and series known as Farscape.
I just finished watching this on netflix yesterday all 88 episodes over the past two weeks and I have to say now that I'm done I feel like something is missing in my life. I didn't have satellite or cable television during its original run but I had heard about it and even when I got netflix I couldn't get into it at first. After the second try I was hooked burning through all four seasons in no time and I agree they should've never canceled it. Stupid move but sci fi has a habit of doing that.
You think that there will be another mini series of Farscape or that there could be a new series? Or is it too late because Claudia and Ben are on Stargate SG1 now? I was a real fan, ever week I watched it religiously. Now I watch the repeated episodes in hopes that Farscape gains new appreciation in the world today and maybe, just maybe, there will be more to look forward to. Thank you for posting!!!!
I agree with you because I think it was one of Sci Fi's better shows. When I think of how long Stargate lasted and think Farscape and BSG only got 4 years, it's kind of pathetic. However, the show had problems. There were quite a few poor episodes, characters would suddenly disappear or reappear, storylines would be dropped, and stuff that just generally didn't make sense. . As much as I loved it, it was a little chaotic.
Yes, this was a heart break. But now that SG-1 is over with, Ben and Claudia might get a call from David Kemper and Brian Henson. Maybe a Farscape Silver Screen feture could be on the horizon. never give up doubt, and never give up hope. But there are going to be a handful of Stargate SG-1 movies, and i do believe Ben and Claudia signed on for those.
Farscape. By far the best SciFi serie ever. And that probably was it's downfall. Too good for the shallow mindless herds living their ignorant sorry lives without even knowing of this serie. Don't know what is the saddest, the forced ending of Farscape or the sad fucks that didn't watch it.... I MISS FARSCAPE !!!!!
Doodtribe is right there will never be another show like it again. and thats very sad there are several Scifi shows that were grate and imagintive and the networks always seem to mess it up . Two shows that were very resent in my mind that I thought were awsome were V the remake and Tera Nova both had very intresting Stories and Awsome actors and Actresses
Both are Scifi shows, both in space, both had alien civilizations and I was 19 when Babylon 5 was out. Plus CGI was a new idea for shows instead of using models.
DW has some issues with being TOO loved, so if the story takes some wrong turns, nobody will know it because the praise is unrelenting. I was sad to see Farscape go, but at least Stargate Atantis' imminent cancellation proves you can't broadcast a hopelessly inane show forever (well, at least not for five years, anyway).

A bit late. but... I actually liked SG: Universe. A lot. Maybe because I felt they took nothing from Galactica, which became a royal piece of crap after season 1. I would even put it in my list of SF series which got axed far too early. Why is it that shows like Firefly or Defying Gravity don´t even get a 2nd season while garbage like BSG gets celebrated by critics?
It was very sad espeicaly to see Tera Nova get caned after it really didnt get a chance to shine. I think that the Nialson raitings system needs a Reboot badly And the Scifi channal needs to step in and save such good programing Pleaes forgive the rant lol it just makes me mad that executives can arbitrally diced to cut a program that has an Audence LOL
These series deserved at least 8 seasons not 4 and 1 3hr episode/movie. I feel that there won't be a space sci-fi this good or better for another decade, even the last stargate is a disapointment, took the worse from bsgalatica and merged into an annoying shaky camera space soap opera >:(
i dun even watch the sci channel anymore. Farscape, Stargate, Atlantis, Galatica all gone for what? ghosts? and wrestling. I stopped paying for that. I love sci fi and fantasy. Syfy should have stayed sci fi...

First Star Trek, then comes due south, Farscape, firefly... it seems anything with the wit, modicum of intelligence that doesn’t spoonfeed platitudes and simple solutions to the viewership is deemed a failure and unsustainable. Better to have loved and lost, and all that noise.

Both Farscape and Legend of the Seeker were wonderful shows, that i had found only after their cancellation.

While Stargate was winner, Star trek had no cohesive story line. Star Trek also made too many errors in their series
