For Daisy, the 90's was a period of uncertainty and confusion for her because her low-quality Super Mario Land art caused her to be victim of ridicule because they can't tell the difference between Daisy and Peach and that's why she went missing for 9 years. I never believed that Daisy was a color swap of Peach and that stupid low-quality render of Daisy in Super Mario Land caused Daisy to be jeered at just because they were convinced that Daisy was different from Peach. Identity crisis is a period of uncertainty and confusion in which a person's sense of identity becomes insecure, typically due to a change in their expected aims or role in society. This is true to Daisy during the 90's after her low-quality artwork in Super Mario Land brainwashed gamers with delusions of Princess Peach forgetting about Daisy's true identity until Mario Tennis on Nintendo 64. I wasn't fooled with Daisy's appearance in Super Mario Land, while gamers in the 90's were fooled, I wasn't.
