Thanks for posting this video. I was an extra in this film and have looked for it online or DVD loads of times. Amazingly this clip is EXACTLY the bit I was in. I'm the blonde kid on a bike in white shirt/tanktop during the first 45 seconds. I was 15 back then and got £25 for the days work - plus a ridiculous haircut and a day off school.
Great to hear so many people from the film. I still have the original VHS Video of this with all the Channel 4 adverts from 1992 and have since copied it to my PC. It's a very under rated film.
I will try - I've an original VHS video from 1992 with all the adverts. In 2005 I copied it onto DVD and in 2009 I copied it onto my PC - this means its easy to edit and upload. Looking forward to seeing the bit you created.
My son Christopher played the part of baby Terence. We lived in Harrogate at the time, I think they filmed most of the film in Huby and Ilkley not 100% certain. Been trying to find a copy of the film for my son, he will be 21 this year. Thought his friends would find it amusing hehe.
I realise these comments were made a few years ago now but am appealing for a copy of the film. I actually played Margaret (the little girl) and am wanting a copy to show my son when he is older. The copy i got given by the crew is missing. X
I saw this while on vacation in England years ago and for some reason remember a scene where the little girl climbs up the side of the cliff. Am I remembering that rightly? People keep telling me I'm thinking of "Paperhouse" but I didn't see that until years later and the little girl in that runs up a path to the lighthouse, she doesn't climb the cliff. Or is there even another film that's similar to "Paperhouse". The little girl I remember climbing was definitely blonde, not brunette.
I was on holiday in Saltburn when they were filming this. Funny to think back now.
