The game looks really good so far!
Starting to like it as well the more I know of it's abstract game systems! It's really different
Your coal stockpiles disappear at the beginning of a whiteout BECAUSE you did not build a supply depot. Read the description for the supply depot (extraction district building).
Wow 😳😳😳😍😍😍😍 This game getting more beautiful ❤️
It's written "disable due : unmet demands, not enough workforce"
Huh imagine that, actually READING what the issue was and not just hovering over it would give him the necessary information.
@@Rugee87but what would be a Nivarias video without him completly ingoring warning and then be surprised when shits hit the fan.😂
The extraction does not work because of workforce.
I saw it when you hovered over the start/stop Button of the district
wow the game is awesome even as a Beta!!! this is quite an opposite to what happened to Cities skylines 2 I assume! love the playtime!
I think it is lack of work force that is not allowing the district to work. It feels like you might be expanding too much, or maybe you need to turn off a district or two to manage the work force. Also I wonder if you need to push big map exploration so much, there is that river bend place very close that you could get permant fuel from (I think, it states there could be a fuel source there)
interesting

Did your coal stockpile disappear at the end because you didn’t have it in supply depots?
Well, from what I've seen so far in this series, I have a feeling that you won't really like this game in the end, at the very least not be so passionate like you were/are for the playthroughs of the original, where you like your micromanagement, caring for a handful of people etc. and I enjoy watching your videos just because of that 🙂 The sequel looks awesome graphically, but underneath, it's looking more like a glorified spreadsheet. We'll see what happens 🙂
This is what I dislike you for. Not reading extra information, your decision are mostly based on mesh selective reading. Though this run is only demo, it's a nice gameplay.
i feel like the game is just to zoomed out with such little control over your city it would have been better if they went with a cities skyline like builder or something where you can at least choose the buildings in a area instead of a road gets made to this district and its freezing because you don't cant build heaters or anything
Pretty sure u caused deaths of ur city 😂
I didn't like this game, it's just to rinse and repeat of the last. Cash grab.
Well it's a sequel. Why would the change it into a whole new concept or different game? I got both endings from the Beta and it's fun, challenging with its new format. Now you're creating cities rather than just a town. More people to take care of, more needs. Factions that requires a lot from you. This is just a small taste, just from what is seen in the menu there is a lot of options.
This comment section is wild lol. How can a game be both way to different than the original but also be a rinse repeat cash grab? Man people really just casually exist in totally different realities.
I dont know, maybe smth wrong with me, but i dont like this game bc of its building system and interface. After first frostpunk, this looks like downgrade. I hope its just only beta and they'll do smth about it
Ok
Wrong opinion
It looks like this game takes away a lot of the strategy planning from the player, and instead forces the player into taking decisions just to appease one faction or the other.
I feel the same way, they took away everything that made Frostpunk awesome
While i agree for the last part, in my opinion the game is very interesting over a city building survival. That said what draws me to frostpunk in the first place is the city building aspect and the severe desperation you can feel through out the decision you gonna make. I would take frostpunk 2 if its just an upgraded frostpunk 1 with new story and mechanics, but i will take this one too. I will miss frostpunk 1 though, hoping it get some sort of mod support or more updates or dlcs.
Currently frostpunk 2 is an interesting game that diverges a lot from its predecessor, while improving some of the under developed aspects like frostland, political opposition and lawmaking, at the same time (kinda?) downgrading the city building aspect.
Really liking the game so far, and the bigger scale. Hope to see a playthrough once the full game comes out!
Thank you for showing me what happens when everything goes to hell :) Another playthrough before the beta ends?
Don't think so, sorry!
This is really difficult to watch. You are ignoring all the vital information provided to you by the game and letting the time fly without doing anything to address the issues.
Thanks for the videos though, the game looks and feels amazing.
maybe we neeed a police force to suppress the protest.🤔
is that a thing?
Oh u watch both ruinous insight and nivarias
@@hotpillow534 yes I watch both of them :D
It really is so different but it's challenging and that's a good thing! You did a great job staying Steward!! 🤩 Wish it had continued on longer!!
I think the whiteout seems pretty short, harsh but short. Seems like a good design idea, just lets you know how bad the white outs are before they get really bad. Also I think breaking multiple promises early in the game hurt you pretty bad. It seems like breaking a promise is a really big deal. We all need to be careful with those promises when we get the game.
Ture, even in the first game breaking a promise can realy kill you early game.
yeeees
WHERE IS MANOR LORDS
Why oh why did thy go pro globalist leftist radical extremist in this game? I KEEP POLITICS OUT OF GAMES
???
Its literally a game with political factions, like the first one was partially too. Why would you expect the opposite?
What specifically are you objecting to? I don't really see anything that could be interpreted as 'globalist' or 'leftist' in the gameplay in this video.
