Boy things have changed - Roush winning championships seems like a different universe.
The good news: that was the last time Allen Bestwick would call a race for NASCAR until 2011; the bad news: the next NASCAR on NBC/TNT telecast would have Bill Weber as pre-race host/lap-by-lap announcer.
I loved Allen Bestwick during this time. It was when he got on ESPN that i hated. He lost all of his commentary talent that he had back in these days.

Kurt's 2004 Sharpie car was a damn fine looking car. Thank goodness he won the title in this and not the Irwin eyesore.
