In this video I will explain what are the transits of Mercury. Because Mercury is one of the interior planets of our solar system, 13 times per century Mercury will position itself on the same plane between Earth and the Sun. When that happen, we can look through a telescope (with special filters) and see a dark little disk traveling across the Sun.

No, when observed from the Earth.
