My favorite RUclipsr is back! Looks like a handy tool for someone like yourself with a lot of trees and potential branches to trim yearly

Just for the suckers on the apple trees alone this thing is great

These are fantastic for the hone gamer. Used one for four hours on a 3ah battery till it shut down. I use this along side a Milwaukee hatchet and hacksaw. The combo of all three got through everything.

Sounds like you have the perfect setup for delimbing 🙌

Agreed that is a great tool to have around! You can fly through some trimmings for easy stacking/pickup. Also easy to get into tight spots because you don’t have handles to open up wife to get leverage with. My neighbor borrowed them for a day and he went and got a kit for himself.

They’re definitely worth having if you have very many trees and bushes to maintain, or using them daily at work

Its a great tool for its intended purpose! For branches that are thicker than that tool can handle, a small chainsaw like a stihl ms 170 would be my go to choice

It’s super handy to have, it’s probably faster and safer than a chainsaw on small items that like to bounce around when the chain hits them. Hope you’re getting some of this rain that’s coming down right now!

I expect the half-open mode also extends battery life although Milwaukee says what, 1,000 half-inch cuts on a CP2.0 battery charge? I doubt I'll be making that many cuts at a time.

I imagine nurseries making that many small cuts but not the average tree trimming guy/landscaper or a homeowner

Those tools are great if your reducing cutting to fit in a recycling bin.
I have a different brand, I would suggest folks not keep their finger on the trigger when they are not looking at the cutting head.
The half setting is for grapevine trimming, lots of small cuts done as fast as you can engage the vines.

I’ve watched videos of the other brands in use and they are pretty impressive also. I feel like the ergonomics of the Milwaukee are a little bit better to get into some tight awkward spots. And yes O agree, if your finger is on the trigger ready to pull it… you better be paying attention to what you’re doing
