  • Day #67 of #worldtravel as #family : After some stunning but exhausting #familytravel in New Zealand, with our last stop in Auckland after having been to Queenstown on South Island, we have made it to Fiji to take a breather and spend some sunny holiday time some nice resorts. Why is Nadi famous: Known for its amazing beaches, clear waters, palm trees, very friendly locals, and relaxed atmosphere, Nadi is a must-visit destination. Located on the west coast of Viti Levu in Fiji, it is one of the country's largest cities and a great tourist hub.
    The Nadi region has Fiji's highest concentration of hotels and motels. With its large Indo-Fijian population, Nadi is a centre for Hinduism in Fiji. It has the largest Hindu temple in the Southern hemisphere, and is a site for pilgrims called Sri Siva Subramaniya temple.
