Well made build! Couldn't agree more on high Medical skill. I usually go for advance engineering and survival but changing it for medical made my life much more less miserable lol.
I can’t say that the loot is necessarily “boosted” in my personal experience however seeing loot lying around being highlighted is very nice in certain situations. Also since the hunting has been changed awareness is very useful for more easily spotting clues/tracks. I’d say if you are definitely looking to PVP it’s not a bad choice to do adv awareness however adv medical truly has my heart the most as it’s very versatile for PvE/PvP. Makes my life more enjoyable personally. Awareness is definitely one of those skills that will pretty easily level over time if you have the patience. For pvp and PvE especially with mechs I find adv stealth more useful right away but lockpicking is nice too for end game.
Is there a place where you can see what's gated behind wich skill ? like how much archery or strenght is needed for using a compund bow ? or like what crafting recipes are gated behind x level of survival or engineering ?
If you look at the crafting menu it’s divided into sections : Basic | Medium | Advanced. If something is grayed out it means you are not at the proper level to craft it. If you see red it means you do not have any materials to craft it. If it’s yellow it means you have some of the materials to craft it. 👍
How do you feel about adv engineering for PvP and for base building, gold lock making. Seeing the new raiding methods with rocket launchers are able to clear walls super fast.
I don’t feel like it’s worth taking adv engineering from the start usually as it is a pretty easily grindable skill. Players power through gold locks pretty easily these days especially if your door doesn’t have a zapper (lock protection) to shock them. Now if you find the combo locks with the number codes those are much better but rare as hell. If you lock up a prefab building with those it’s almost raid proof
Medium engineering is no longer required for car parting but you do need a car Jack to service most things on the car. However you can pull most everything off the car without even using the jack (except wheels). But to put things back on you need the Jack lol 🤪

Never had much issues with sickness but as the game progresses it could be an issue, overall health is more the issue I found

Did they change awareness giving better better loot from searchable objects in 8.5? If not im kinda on the fence with adv awareness straight away.

Since .85 didn’t they get rid of the engineering requirement? I don’t have anything in it and I ripped an entire car apart
