When i was a kid i didn't understand why was emily so sad and heartbroken and it made my parents cry, 10 years later when i was cleaning my room and i found my box full of DVDs and the first thing i saw was this movie perfectly stacked on the top. It really brings back memories when i first saw it, now that i can understand better i decided to rewatch the movie. When i tell you i cried 2 days straight. Listening to their piano duet makes me wanna help them to be together forever. It really shows me the painful part of "romance" and how it can effect someone's feeling when they thought they will be together but instead it lead to something horrible and sad...
Emily was such a pure soul, who loved unconditionally. It was her downfall both times. The second time she loved, with Victor, was a painful reminder that she was not intended to recieve love hence why it's said "always the bridesmaid never the bride." Still she sacrificed herself so that Victor could have his love...
I feel that there is a difference between two strangers in the beginning, but after that, they understand each other and make it perfect. What an impressive and touching melody! I don't know how many times I replay this audio. I love the original in the movie rather than other versions.
I wish the ghosts who live in my house actually played the piano i keep in my living room. Dancing around with ghosts and dead people like we're all equal, while an unknown person plays the piano. Dancing with the underworld. I am i witch, i hear and feel spirits...but sometimes i just wish i could hug them all, make them a cup of tea and dance with them.
Often times singing the spirits a song like I do, tends to illicit a strong memory. A memory of positivity in their life and they'll often egg me on to keep singing for them. Music is such a universal language even those in the afterlife understand.

No one lives with you and every night you are awoken to the sound of the piano in the room beside you and the person playing is the corpse of a dead man who you are in love with and around the house is other corpses and ghosts that live in the house with you but they only come out at night so they are basically your family because they all know you.

Tbh Emily deserved someone better. Victor never loved her , he only pitied her . Man was too desperate to get back to life.
