- We're thrilled to announce our Elite Team for 2024! They've already set the bar high, but this year, we're not just aiming to meet expectations -- we're looking to redefine them.

Yeah he obviously sells discs but elite team status should be reserved for the best players. Come up with a different name for mediocre players who sell discs. Nothing against him but this taints the word elite.
Clemons should be on the Elite team if Brodie is on it.

Brodie is an elite disc seller and promoter of disc golf. Remember what people said when he first join and look at where is he now, top 40. That's impressive.
@@tranquility2348 Clemons had 2 top 10 finishes at Majors this year (7th at Champions Cup and 9th at USDGC). And finished 3rd at worlds in ‘22.

I sincerely don’t have a problem with Brodie being on here. But having him on while simultaneously signing Clemons to the Tour Team instead of Elite feels almost criminal.

The jawbreaker Z will probably be the TS plastic this year. The capt raptor will probably be 1 of only a couple that gets done in the jawbreaker Z flx this year.

Elite = sells discs (#1 priority to keep your job is generating sales). If you can't figure that out, go back to school. Brodie moves plastic. Simple.

Uli talks about what being on the elite team means in his video where he announces he's not going to be on it anymore. It's about performance as well

Actually it also depends on your performance at tour events, local guy tim barham was on the elite team and sold plenty of disc (cranks and then buzzz ss) but he didn't have the finishes and placements required so he got dropped from the elite team. So before you attempt to act like you know what you're talking about you should actually talk with people that know before you go on the Internet trying to sound smart 😂🤡 rating and world ranking also factors into it. Like someone above said uli is not on the elite team because he didn't have the performances. Which is why Alexis was dropped off the elite team for her sister, Valerie had better performances than Alexis shoot val missed a portion of last season and still ended up performing better than Alexis 2 years in a row

Hey the Ultrastar is pdga approved and the guy threw the hell out of those :) Lid throwing aside, he hosts a popular pod in the disc golf community, and he and Ezra get plenty of views on their practice round series. That moves plastic.

Ultimate stats have nothing to do with disc golf and shouldn’t be added in to inflate your ego. Selling product should not be why you make the team.
@@bmfitz2647 ego? Thats awfully cynical. Discraft makes Ultrastars. It's not like they put up a first prize at a hot dog eating contest. Sure, PDGA world champ look better, but just as Brodie is promoting discs from his sponsor, his sponsor is promoting the horse they're placing their bet on.

yall need to get some more social media collabs with ezra, aaron, adam and AB. fun group of young guns but they are all kind of quiet and wont dominate the conversation *coughBrodie* which will let them shine as individuals a bit more.

Uli isn't on the Elite Team. He's the Team Captain and he's also on the Icon Team.
He played well enough to be on the Elite team, but that might have seemed strange after putting him on the Icon team. Either way I’m sure Discraft is being good to him. 😎

Great to see Brodie there. His journey to disc golf pro is remarkable. His value in increasing disc sales has also been taken into account when making this decision, and I think it's justified.
Brodie isnt elite quit playin Discraft.

That's for us to believe and him to prove. While we all want more victories, his work ethic and ability to compete is not questioned at Discraft.

Brodie is top 40 in the world and has been only playing for 3 years. He’s definitely elite.

Ulibarri played well enough to be back on the Elite team. But maybe that would have seemed strange after honoring him with his (seemly permanent) inclusion on the Icon team.
Anyway, Discraft seems to take good care of more Disc Golfers than any other sponsor.
