like the means to the end for money. if you were on an island and had a billion dollars what use would that be? also if you were paid $10/hr but homes are worth $1M what good is that? another thing is the relationship of money and time. if you have more time you can make more money but if you have more money you can't buy time. so it's better to get rich as soon as possible so you can enjoy it for the rest of your life instead of having a billion dollars but be on your death bed. :P
