And this is the reason why I love conscious rap. No African musician has ever made a song relating to the 147 kids in Kenya. Our music in Africa is all about parties and having a fucking great time. The majority is stuck in the matrix. I'm from Zambia.
Completely understand, I've listened to this album at least 6 times already and am still stuck reading comments sections to try and find other people who understand the genius and artistry of this music
This is the best album I've listened to all year hands down. It deserves critical acclaim and an award nomination, although, I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.
For real best album I ve heard in years!!! Every song is fire...one of the few albums I can listen to straight through...masta ace disposable arts is another
@@kylecephas2942 for me it's Jay Z's Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic of Nas and All My Heroes Are Dead so far. may be i'm too young, but this is the only 3 albums that i can listen straight through without skipping a single song. and also in this list Infamous of Mobb Deep, but i didn't like few songs
There's still so much "REAL" Hip Hop out there, Griselda(Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and Daringer respectfully), Black Soprano Family, Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, .38 Spesh, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Illogic, Blueprint, Apathy, Celph Titled, Locksmith, Vinnie Paz, Ill Bill, the list just keeps goin lol
@LOTM2 i agree with that completely. Idk what jus allahs thing is either or this new magnetic vs paz thing. Seems like alota of my favorite artists beef with one another
lol i will only believe that the middle passage is coming out when i see it. and then still i wont really believe it. after i listen to it 2 or 3 times maybe i'll start considering it's real hahahaha
It's terrifying "waking up" after decades and realizing that we are being controlled by a select few with no morale compass. The more i listen to this track the more uncomfortable i become knowing that humanity is doomed. 10/10
goddamn.. it doesn't end.. every single song has been solid. I haven't skipped through anything yet.. only time will tell but this might be a top 5 album for me
Such a lyrical slaughter, so much truth... I'll be honest, I never followed RA too much but this album is amazing and this track in particular touches me so deeply. Respect!
Legends Never Die turned into old shit when it was the new shit and now two years later this is turning into the new old shit. We’re all getting older and I just hope great artists like RA keep coming through with more shit. We’re only here for so long…
Listen I love Em. Im a born 88er but RA smacks him up. His flow is a beautiful and filthy river (hudson?) that can put complex rhymes in a way beyond intelligent thats even hard to just read sometimes. This album is his best in my humble opinion. That after life song damn it hits home. mxch love yall from NY
Too bad we live in a world where a masterpiece like this gets swept inder the rug due to its REALNESS. But, fuck the world! Keep it up, R.A. U a legend in my book.
This track has me thinkin even more of howninfeel like I'm watchin life like a spectator I have a crippling drug addiction and im killing myself day by day I just want to be happy but I dont know how to :'(
why the fuck would we want to imagine eminem? What kind of a retarded comment is that? Thats like watching a Martin Scorsese film and then saying "duuuuude imagine if Steven Spielberg directed this movie bro"... you see how dumb that sounds?
The algorithm doesn't promote things like this.. Should easily be doing millions.
The 147 kids that were killed in Kenya🇰🇪. I.m from Kenya. That was a sad chapter in our history. Thank you Rugged Man.

I feel this on a different level.
So many sheep everywhere they got us by the balls

ALL DECADE!

It’s really better if it doesn’t and it gets “discovered” a year or two later.

This is insanely profound and incredible. These verses are teaching us about the real world. Droppin nothing but facts RA wow
Check out immortal technique
@@lenaprescott1828 Technique is dope but he can't rap like R.A..
This album might be his best body of work so far in my opinion.
Definitely his most complete.
Damn.. ya boy absolutely murdered this one
Jesus Christ R.A obliterated this track. He destroyed Legends Never Die and I didn't think that was possible
Let's see if he can top this album lol.
I wear the shirt regularly!!! He’s been killin it for decades & he just keeps getting better! It’s unreal!
I would love an ra and em collab
best album to bless this cursed year😭😭

Album of the year
The fact this isn't in rotation is a reflection on what is being said in these lyrics. RA is on another level and the WORLD needs to know.
