It’s been so long since I watched the first three seasons that I started to forget just how much I loved pyhrra. Her weapons were fantastic and her fighting conveys a balance of grace and strength. She had so much kindness, and all the while grappled with expectations and feelings of isolation. She felt like someone you could talk to and trust, and when I saw the show for the first time I didn’t have a lot of friends so I was drawn to her. I remember crying my eyes out when season 3 ended, and every time she comes up again the tears just start flowing.
Pyrrha was such a pure and amazing soul she didn't deserve to be manipulated and used when she was basically a unwilling participant in something she never got to fully learn about. Amazing video and wonderfully edited. You encapsulated everything wonderful and tragic about Pyrrha.

Pyrrha Nikos is an amazing character and a true Achilles story. In the sense every version of Achilles for TV and Movies was a broken warrior. I like how you edited that perception of Pyrrha's character. Cannot wait for your next video.

Pyrrha was so great. It was awesome to see a prodigy who dealt with the struggles of being a prodigy yet stayed humble and kind. And maybe I’m wrong but I don’t feel she was fridged-because she wasn’t just killed for Jaune’s story, she sacrificed herself as part of her own. Frankly I’m fascinated by BOTH parts of Arkos because of how rare characters like either of them are.
She is the first character that represent both historical favorite and the best relatable person I look up to. She may not be in world scale THE strongest or powerful character, but a person who is better than the protagonist herself.
She’s would be in Olympus with the other gods/goddesses, she served her role well. Now go free her spirit

Pyrrha's arc was just so sad. People put her on a high pedestal, and she never really got the chance to find a real friend, and I believe that was one, if not _the_ reason why she chose Beacon above everything else: To maybe, just maybe, find a real friend. For a while, she did find it with her team--Team JNPR--till Ozpin told her all about the Maidens and whatnot, roping her into something she never asked for. She became distant, still aching to just have a break from being someone people look up to and to just be someone people would want to be friends with.
What hits hard the most, at least it does for me, is that she still _chose_ to be the next in line for the Maiden's powers, because she trusted Ozpin's decision and she believed it would be best for the whole world. She put others in front of herself--the literal definition of "selfless." But still, when her time was ending, she was alone, like she always has: Alone when arriving at Beacon, alone at the dance, and alone when facing death in the face.
She was right about destiny, at least in my eyes, but she was destined to be alone, despite people looking up to her.
The show is messed up, especially now -that's why I stopped watching a year or two ago-, but I will always have respect for Pyrrha, even though she may be a Mary Sue.
I honestly relate Pyrrha's story to Jaune's, in volume 8 I think, Ren's semblance allows him to see the emotions of the other characters, and he see's that Jaune was not afraid to face the danger even when he and Yang were afraid... I think Jaune drew courage from Pyrrha to emulate what a huntress is... Plus I refuse to accept that they are done with pyrrha... I REFUSE, because she is such an inspiration, and after Jaune stabbed Penny at her request I think he is going to need some inspiration.
An overpowered character does not a Mary sue make

Pyhra was one of my favourite characters. Her and jaunes relationship felt natural and loving. Watching the show for the first time, as soon as she kissed him I knew it was over for her

Pyrrha..... Ever after 5 volumes gone, her name & spirit moves our heroes in RWBY. Moreover, she still moves us fans as well!! Her selfness nature, strength of character, and warrior spirit..... Pyrrha became a part of all who knew her!! And in Jaune, the love of life and will to preserve it!! When Cinder's time comes, (I do hope it will be soon!!!) I wish that it is Pyrrha's spirit that comes for her.... Saying "Now, Destiny is here for you...."

RIP Pyrrha Nikos.😢😢😢 So beautiful, smart, strong, selfless, and caring. At least people can see her again in RWBY Chibi and I can see her in several fanfics for RWBY where she survived, mainly crossovers with Sonic the Hedgehog and Kingdom Hearts where she still fought Cinder before being spared from death’s door.

I love this, this almost made me cry and I hate you for ittttt,,,,,, fun fact, after watching v3 on my rwby binge, I didn't believe she was actually dead until that one v6 scene hncghhdy,,, that damn scene will always make me fucking cry and I HATE ITTTT
I’m conflicted on the one hand Pyrrha died just as she was starting to become interesting (at least she went out like a badass) but on the other she died before the series got really bad. Having said all of that she was one of my favorite characters.
I felt my tears forming in the beginning and when she died at the end I knew it was time to let them go 😭😭😭

Another amazing edit ❤. Just the end, though.....🤔😵. Leaving it on the final scene being Jaune just being like, "OH WELL, such a shame she's gone forever now, NOT LIKE I SHOULDA MADE MYSELF STRONG ENOUGH TO PROTECT HER." 🤢🤮. If I'm bein honest, that kinda ruined it for me. I mean, I know you didn't writ ehis character as being weak, but allthesame, to have the whole video be an AMAZING omage to her strength, and her love for others such as Jaune.....and then have it all overshadowed in the end by some weak idiot just basically shrugging over her death, even though if he cared he'd be, instead, like, "FUCK. I am a monster for not being strong enough to protect/save her; this is on me." NOPE, lol, instead this masterpiece in her honor finishes with an uncaring idiot shrugging over all her struggles and eventual beautiful self-sacrifice. Truly great vidro besides that, though, honestly 😊👍.
I appreciate the comment, but blaming himself over something he had no power over would make him the actual idiot you described, also this was not shrugging her death but honoring her memory and what she accomplished
@@HJMEdits Agreed, she wouldn't want him to blame himself, and ultimately he did blame himself, it seemed like he was blaming himself while calling Ruby to find her, and when practicing the sword to the video she made, it seems like he does blame himself... But ultimately no matter how hard he had worked before there would be no way for him to have been a help in that battle because it is just physically not possible to go from a beginner to a master in about a year. Instead he picked up the pieces and moved on while carrying her memory. Plus he told Pyrrha's mom It should have been her standing here, and her mom said she is. She was there in spirit trying to guide them to believe in their destiny/final goal.
