    I'd suggest it's completely conventional to slice cake vertically, otherwise an interesting watch (I have never sliced a cake with the blade of the knife in the horizontal...)

    It's pronounced dock, not doke, because it's a verb, "doku," to count.

    It's not correct: Some sudokus can have multiple solutions ( normally with small slight variations )
