Many learn shorthand only for exam purpose but if we want to become a good Stenographer then we have to give our full fledged time to shorthand baki exam to clear ho jayenge but important hai ki hm dedication ke sath kare and consistently practice kare

I will share my experience, i started in Jan 2017, and completed this book of 231 excercise, and had almost completed the book by june 2018 and could take 60 wpm, and as i was doing it with college i did take a week break during exams, and due to financial problems had to take up a job which resulted in a gap, but i cleared the state certification of GCC upto 100 wpm. But it took some time with gaps. And yes if you dont practice for long time you loose speed and even forget outlines. However, i believe that people on RUclips even call it computer typing which mislead students into applying and then realisng the hard way, i have even met some people at the tier one centre who have no idea what shorthand is and have applied for this position.
It is compulsory for learn both English Hindi stenographer after selection.

No typewriter is needed. The basic book for learning Shorthand is Pitman Shorthand instructor and key. You also need steno pencils and steno note pad/ normal note pad. Computer is useful for the purpose of typing the shorthand matter as you've to do the same in the skill test

Thanku so much for such nice video maine bhut saare youtubers ko dekha wo bolte hai ki minimum 2 years lagenge khair mujhe usse jyada fark to nhi padta lkin khi n khi tboda sa demotivation Jrur aa jata hai but after this video mujhe lag rha hai ki mai ise 8-10 months me kar lungi ye alg baat hai ki abhi mujhe kuchh nhi pta but mai seekh lungi because I believe in myself and I always ready to give my 100% thanks once again

I have started learning shorthand from 1 june 2023 ,and one month have passed ,let me tell u it is not much difficult but ya u have to keep your ear and eye open while learning it ,and daily practice is much much needed if u take even one week gap in beginning,it will be a huge loss ,if u really want to do it just do it ,but if u want to leave it in halfway then just dont start ,learning it just for 4-5 months will take u nowhere ,u have to practice it atleast 1 year to grab the speed of 70-80 words/minute.
@@Ajay-q8r4q in 3 months u can lern shorthand. But u cannot achieve speed of 80 words per minute just in 3 month it is next to impossible even after daily practice. Atleast 6 months is a much needed for 80 words per minute speed.

As you are talking about the speed...i really want to know about -The dictation speed on typwriter means just (Typing)or taking dictation by hand on notebook...i'm really confused as i'm new and want to learn shorthand ...please make a seperate video on this topic.
Shorthand speed means only the speed at which you write the dictation at the time it is being dictated. Typing has to be done on computer, not on typewriter. Typing speed of 40wpm is considered good.

Their are coaching institute near by me one who teaches with light and dark
And another simply by learning strokes,in his perspective we dnt have enough time in exam to differentiate as well as light dark method is time taking too

Legal phrase book for court pitmanites is a good book for phrases and some dictations. Then you can practice from All India reporter judgments

Okk Gud you know steno rules very well. Daily take 400/800 seen matter dictation first copy all 400/800 words 4/5 times then go for dictation. After that find out difficult words and phrases from it and practice and again take dictation. After 10/15 exercise you see improvement.
Take dictation until you achieve 100% accuracy

Some offices make it compulsory while others don't. So it depends on your luck. You should take joining first then after joining one can learn in a couple of years if required.
