Hi Jeannie, just a suggestion for when you're washing Monaco's hair. Consider rolling up the end of the towel that you have her laying on to make a thicker roll under her neck so that she has a bit more support. You don't want her head hanging straight back like that into the sink because it can become really uncomfortable. My mom has washed my hair like this as a kid up until I was too old to fit on the counter 😂 - when she's older with thicker & longer hair, and the washes start taking a bit more time, it'll be needed.
Yes to this! They also have this ramp contraption thingy you can sit the baby in by the sink to wash their hair I saw it on instagram. I shook when her head went all the way down in the sink 😩
Piggy back on this pertinent suggestions, you could also order the shampoo bowl neck rest online for your baby...I had one for my daughter when she was a baby and it lasted up till she was 5yrs old.
You have a tremendous brother helping to care for Monaco as well!!! It’s beautiful to see family taking care of this sweet beautiful strong little girl!
I have an 8 month old and I'm constantly learning because she's constantly growing and changing. As always, Mama Mai is hilarious. Y'all are the cutest family
Monaco is such a doll baby, and it’s still so awesome & fun to see how much you’re loving motherhood! It fits you like a glove Jeannie. You love to see it! ♥️♥️♥️
This made my morning. I was literally smiling the entire video. We need more of this type of energy on a daily. I said it before and I'll say it again, "Momma Mai is a whole mood". She is EVERYTHING. I love y'alls mommy/daughter relationship. Great hacks Jeannie... I can definitely relate to my woman parts not working so much after giving birth. It's even hard to squeeze in a 🌬. I'm like dang, do I need to keegle or what. I could NOT stop lol at mommy Mai and the milk. Too freaking hilarious. GMA for the win lol...
Ladies, if you are having troubles with your bladder (with or without having a baby) please see a pelvic floor physio. It’s common but it doesn’t mean it’s normal, you shouldn’t have to struggle with your bladder just because you had a baby!
@@michelleinfo-vlog2449 they can help you assess and strengthen your pelvic floor! It’s very common after childbirth to experience issues with bladder control. It’s become a joke and almost expected of women who have kids. But we don’t have to pee ourselves! Lol
Jeannie don't be so aggressive with Mama Mai! lol. I love that you are so comfortable as a new mom, we don't need to be so scared around babies. Love these hacks!
She is too aggressive and it is stressing the viewers-makes people not wanna watch what she’s putting out there. Maybe don’t let your mom watch your baby if you don’t think that she can handle it instead of letting her do it and then just like complain all the time in an aggressive demeaning way. She’s too cheap to hire a nanny.
I agree Jeanie 😟 Try to remember your mom is from a different time and her hacks were maybe the hacks of back then. Have patience 🙏🥺 She loves you and her grand baby
There’s definitely some anger there. Mama Mai seems like she’s always finding ways to put down Jeanie or doesn’t want to give her credit as a young mother. She should really move and allow that young family to be alone. I have 2 young daughters that I did just that. I allowed my daughters to have their own family dynamics but gave them the space to ask me for help if they needed it. Rating your daughters parenting is plain jacked up. The way I see it, she made her own mistakes. I side with Jeanie on this one. She wants credit from that woman she’s probably never going to get. She gave credit to her son before she did Jeanie and I felt bad for her.
With her hair texture you're going to have to buy her a baby silk bonnet after you wash and comb her hair out that way it won't get so netted in the back. Do this even when she is older tie her hair up or give her a bonnet to wear at night.
Mama Mai should start to give credit where it’s due. You need it during this time of being a new mother. I have 2 daughters and I see how they’ve thrived from encouragement and it’s brought us closer together. I don’t want to push them away during this important time in their lives and I don’t want to miss a single second of it. Instead, she wants her credit… well, her time of being a young mother has passed and she needs to move to the side. It’s your turn Jeanie and you’re doing a great job!
Moma Mai is so freaking gorgeous! 😍 Both of you are stunning but considering her age, it’s next level!!! Y’all a so hilarious together! We need more content lol! 😂💕
100%! Suction plates, bowls, and sippy cups for Monaco when she starts feeding herself. Helps in preventing them from being dropped or straight up tossed across the room. Hello dynamic duo, you guys are GREAT together & the baby is gorgeous. Although, I am past baby days. I will definitely remember for my daughter in law...once one of my sons choose a wife😂😂😂. Have an amazing weekend!

You don't need to be rated as a mom Jeannie. U r doing so well already. Mama Mai, U rock. Coco so blessed to have so much love and care from you all. God bless U all
Hi Jeannie, Mama Mai, Papa Mai, all in the family and crew members. You are so inspiring and relatable to all with such authenticity, humor and entertainment. Love to watch you all. Fantastic and extraordinary connecting with positive energy. Marvellous and joyful interaction. Love you all.
Jeannie, I mean this with all the love in the world but it seems you may be dealing with some new mommy confidence issues and that you may have some sort of complex about being a better mom than your mom. Allow me to offer you this. Give yourself and your mom some Grace! Parenting doesn't come with a hand book and you will make mistakes. It's life. Kind of distracting from the great content. Much love to you and all your family and enjoy this journey called motherhood and put a little chill on it babes 😘
To me, it sounded as though she was seeking validation from her mom because Momma Mai believed she wouldn't be as good of a mom. Either way, your recommendation is a good one.
Coco so cute 🥰🥰🥰 always smiling…brush her hair downward to stimulate hair growth around the edges with a soft or med bristle brush…. Mixed texture hair can get tangled easy after it’s dry if you don’t detangle it and Moisturizer it after washing ❤️❤️
Although it seems somewhat “playful”, the whole screaming at your mom dynamic triggers my nervous system, it doesn’t sit right 🥵 I love that you shared these tricks that could be helpful to new mommas and their own babies though! 🤍
Yeah, it’s not right nor mentally healthy to be doing that to your mom. I don’t know who the therapist is, but JM is not really listening to what the therapist tells her.

In Africa we use those kind of pads (though not that brand) we don't use tampons....I was excited to see you educating others how cool they are...very comfortable.. Monaco has grown so much..cute cute little girl...I enjoyed the video very educative
I love mauii moisture shampo and conditioner is amazing for curly hair super hydrating and good for tangles and y also recommend not very hot water so that the heat dosen't damage the hair and if you want leave in conditioner for her ends not ruits because you don't want to create a blockages in the hair follicles
Jeanie, I love your channel!!!! You are an amazing mother.. I give you a10. Monico is a beautiful happy baby! She is blessed to have a fun loving family. Momma Mai is hilarious!!!
Y'all are so real and I love it no watered down mess over here and I'm here for it. Jeannie your baby couldn't be more beautiful she's literally a dream. So for her hair I would say use mixed kids it's a hairline for curly mixed kids hair I would also say that she would need a leave in conditioner. One that I really love especially for those dry patches is by Jane Carter Solution and it's called "curls to go" untangle me weightless leave in. It's a game changer a little goes a long way I hope that those products help. Love you all!
I'm gonna try this for my 11yr old son. He's got a full head of long thick curly hair and it's a struggle sometimes dealing with it. But once it's all detangled it's absolutely beautiful. Thanks for the suggestion!
No alcohol based products for the baby’s hair. When she gets older, make sure her ends are clipped every 2-3 months. Deep conditioning treatment once a week or every two weeks would be good for her hair. Since she has curly hair
Wash once a week with clarifying shampoo twice, rinse, deep condition detangle, rinse, condition while washing body, rinse with cold water, oil scalp, brush section, add product brush product massage/smooth with hands don’t touch and let it dry. During the week dampen edges and hair not roots and add one of your creamier products. If the ends look tired add some more water and comb, squeeze until just damp and then add product, brush with paddle brush some people like denman whatever and then smooth with hands a bit just a bit.
I know I don't know you and I will never meet you, but seeing you so happy in your life makes me happy. Sometimes the Lord will bring us things we never knew we wanted, but he knew we needed. Monaco and Jeezy brings you so much happiness and I know your cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
I’m not seeing anything differently from her daughter. Jeannie is still screaming at her, however, I do see a change in mama Mai. she is much calmer and wiser in comparison to her daughter who went nuts when trying to confront her mom.
I really enjoyed watching Mama Mai and you go back and forth with each other! It's so sweet! 😄😄😄 Great baby hacks for growing babies! 👍🏽❤️💯 I love the baby bottle holder, the suction sink toy and the cup game Uncle Dennis came up with. Monaco is growing up so fast, I can't believe she's going to be 6 months old soon!
Mama Mai is right! You might be a 9/10 mom right now, wait until the next 18 years 🤐 parenting gets way harder than just feeding them and making sure there’s no eczema.
You are doing a great job with baby Monaco. You and your husband are great parents. I love Mamma Mai! She is the best! Jeannie, you are blessed to have her. Great job Jeannie! Great Job!
can't you support each other as moms rather than having a go at your mother. Things changed since she raised you but she did the best she could. No mother is perfect, we all struggle :)
Love love love this video 🥰 You and Mama Mai are just too funny, cute and REAL! The arms in the shirt during diaper change is genius 👏🏾👏🏾 It may be possible you're washing Coco's hair too often, hence the dry scalp. I have two teen boys and when they were babies I washed their hair once a week, maybe once every other week 🤔 Their hair texture is curly coarse.
Jeannie I love your relationship with your mother. I see similar personalities. No mother's relationship is perfect. Thing's get easier with time. Your daughter is growing up so fast. She's so adorable. Jeannie you're a great mommy. Thanks for sharing ❤️
As a mom of 4 kiddos feeding your baby is just special 🥰 either by bottle or breastfeeding it’s such a calm beautiful bonding moment, you don’t want to miss out !
Awe so sweet. What’s wrong Coco baby ❤️❤️😘😘. There is no perfect manual Jeannie just keep loving the baby that’s all. None of us knew what we were doing lol
I'll be honest, I'm 27 and I have bladder problems. I haven't gotten to the point where I have leakage, at least I don't think so, but sometimes my panties do feel damp outside if sweating, and when I smell them, I low-key smell pee. My problem really has been difficulty holding my bladder and I swear, every time I go out, I have to worry about finding a clean toilet or if I can hold it. I also have to be careful about drinking liquids before I go out and while I'm while. I always make sure I pee before I leave the house. I thank God, that I haven't had an accident on myself when I go out.
Pelvic floor therapist can help with this. Kegels are not the answer. A Pelvic floor therapist will examine you and provide specialized exercises to fix the leakage. Your ob-gyn can refer you to one.
I love the hacks but please support her neck better to wash her hair , it's not good for her neck to lay back like that, so excited for your mom journey! All ❤️
My daughter who's also biracial... Had the bumpy spots here and there as well. Used baby Aveeno eczema cream that worked well. Also for my daughter's hair which looks exactly like Monaco's I used the Pink lotion, a little goes a long way! 😜🥰🙏🏽✨
This was funny to me and it made my day. Monaco is super cute and she is a busy body! Jeannie is in for some trouble when she starts crawling and standing, right before she starts walking 🤣. This was a funny dynamic to watch between Jeannie and Mama Mai. My mother says the same thing about us being alive but I know she was just winging it too and by God's grace, we are all still here. Being a parent is about far more than just keeping your children alive 🙄
that hair washing made me spooked. is there a bed or something that the baby can lay on with a strap to hold her in place and provide some neck support? I love how hype the baby is. she mist get alot of stimulation with her loved ones around!
Since you are going to use the sink to wash her hair, you don’t always have to use a “tear less” shampoo. Curl Smith is a vegan hair care line for curls. My kids hair love it! especially my 2 yr old who had big floppy curls up top and tight curls in the back. I use the cowash if his scalp is in good shape. Otherwise I’ll use the france free shampoo and then the cream to oil leave in conditioner. Once a month I’ll use the scalp conditioning conditioner. If you are going to wash her hair in the tub and there’s a chance water will run into her eyes, use Tubby Todd hair care line. I hope this helps!
Heyyy Jeannie and Mama Mai, Happy Friday. It's so good to see you both in today's video 🥰😁 How's Baby Monaco doing? Loved watching today's video 👍🏻🙌🏻 Sending love 🫶🏻💚

can't you support each other as moms rather than having a go at your mother. Things changed since she raised you but she did the best she could. No mother is perfect, we all struggle
:)
Jeannie you're such a amazing mom❤
Jeannie!!! You are a 10 out of 10!!!!❤️❤️❤️doing an amazing job⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐love you so much!!! (Just don't be too hard on Glamma-Mai ok) ✨🎀🌈💜🦋
“If you too lazy to comment, just subscribe” lol I love mama mi
As a mom of 4 kiddos feeding your baby is just special 🥰 either by bottle or breastfeeding it’s such a calm beautiful bonding moment, you don’t want to miss out !
Jeannieeeeee you look gorg. Love the hair 😍
Awe so sweet. What’s wrong Coco baby ❤️❤️😘😘. There is no perfect manual Jeannie just keep loving the baby that’s all. None of us knew what we were doing lol
She is so busy! I love it!!!
Monaco is always laughing 🥰🥰🥰
MAMA MAI I love your OUTFIT!!
I love watching your videos, they are the best.
Mama Mai fashion is always on point🥰🥰I love her Glasses.
I love the hacks but please support her neck better to wash her hair , it's not good for her neck to lay back like that, so excited for your mom journey! All ❤️
Your baby is so precious ❤️
Momma you look soooo good in this video. Love your makeup and overall look
I don’t want much for my birthday. i just want the person reading this to be healthy, happy and loved wishing you a wonderful day 💚💚
Thank you, same to you 🤍
Thank you same to you ❤️ 💙 Happy BIRTHDAY 🎂 🥳
May you be blessed, always. And happy birthday, internet friend!
Thx. Happy birthday
She’s such a beautiful happy baby😂😍😍😍
that hair washing made me spooked. is there a bed or something that the baby can lay on with a strap to hold her in place and provide some neck support?
I love how hype the baby is. she mist get alot of stimulation with her loved ones around!
Can't wait till Monaco starts walking 🥰🥰🥰🥰 she's so adorable!
We all love you guys❤💯
Argan oil and Blue magic mix together and that will help with her sides growing in.
Mama mai is glowing. Being a grandma looks good on her .
