Hi Robe 😊I'm happy to see you at work again, me with my partner since we discovered this channel a few weeks ago, we've fallen in love with it ❤️ A big hug from our island Sardinia Keep going you're really strong 👍
@@williamscoggin1509 I would go with something stronger than chicken wire. I have seen chicken wire torn apart by a predator. Judging by the size of that hole, I suspect it can get through chicken wire, too.
That's a creative way to make a 'no-cost' door latch. I recommend that you disassemble it completely & coat/paint all the parts with melted wax. You can use discarded junk candles to get the wax. The wax will lubricate the latch, letting it slide smoothly & it will waterproof it to prevent the wood from swelling when the humidity is high. It will also slow down the aging/rotting of the wood.
That looks like a plastic netting? Gotta get wire… in my area mice & or rats will chew thru that stuff… they seem to be very fond of the plastic around wiring too.
That's really good, Robert. The hole in the chicken coop netting looks like something a predator would do. Either that or your chickens are very industrious.
You got kicked out of your wife’s house right? I’m so sorry that happend my parents got divorced and my mom kicked my dad out of my house and I didn’t see him for 6 weeks😢
I like your Work and the kitchen looks very nice. The chi🐔cops neet a metalframe but you make thats better👍. I wait for your Video on next time. See you soon .😄
Another good video Robe! Also while watching I was looking at the opening of the door and wondering about if you would thought of putting a second layer of plexiglass with air in between the two windows for better temperature insulation? 🥶👍🏻
Thats not strong enough....you should have heavier wire on the whole thing ... we had a mink that tried to get in thank goodness we had heavy wire. Put a trail camera out to see whats doing it.
Hello Petrina! Yes, I'm ok now, first I hurt my back and then my foot. I'll be back on the 19th or 26th of this month. I have already started working, but mostly I clean around the house. I will start recording next week. Thank you 👍😊
@@klerobi1 Thank you Roberto, sorry to hear you have not been too well, but glad you are getting about better now. I look forward to seeing you up an about an getting your house finished. Hope it’s nice an warm where you are, we had a very mild winter here in Abruzzo, we never had snow!! Very strange, but I am enjoying the sunshine, it’s good for the bones lol. You take good care. 😊😊
Robert, did you start a new channel? My cabin in the mountain popped up as one to watch and your videos were on it. Just wanted to know in case you started a new channel.
Almost 100k Robert! Come on everyone! Make sure you're subscribed.
Yes, thank you! 👍🙂

Love the wooden latch. I think you are going to have to use something much stronger for your chicken coop. At least for the bottom 3' (meter).
Maybe a strip of actual chicken wire around the bottom. They can still see good, while not actually getting out...

Yes, I will replace the complete chicken net: This is cheap from Amazon 👍🙂

Cabin is looking good Roberto, how is your diet going? I think you look well. You have blue sky like here in Italy, still no snow for us.
Thank you Petrina! It's not good, that's why I didn't mention anything, ok, I lost 1 kg, but I struggle with sweets 👍🙂
@@klerobi1 You are funny, I like sweets too, but 1 kg is a good start. When the weather is good you will move about more. Take care.
@@petrinakeay4075 Thanks, Petrina

Why do you use a plastic net? It's best for cucumbers. The chicken net is made of metal.
The metal net is just covered with plastic, that's how it came in the set. This is amazon
Fox?
I have not seen a fox, but I have seen a mink many times 👍🙂
