You looked good out there Carly.. some of your laps were as fast as everyone's. It's not going to take you long so don't worry bout it.. just think that was only your first time at the track... . Tanner you looked good out there too looked like the smart racer you are and you both stayed away from certain death there outa two being forced up the track and managed to keep your car outa trouble.. you both played it smart and I bet are ready to get back there again.. that musta been fun Carly. Be smart and stay safe and I have no doubt you'll get there after that performance
The other guy at the beginning of this video is correct. Go out and have fun Carly... Plus the more on track experience you can get, the better. So if you have to run a qualifier race. Than take advantage of that on track time. Even if you have to start in the back for a while. It will allow you the experience of passing cars. Which later on will definitely come in handy...
Seat time is the best teacher that sucks you couldn't get your cars freed up any more than that but it's all learning process both of you get there keep digging
Don't ever get down on yourself Carly. It's all about seat time. The more seat time you get, the more comfortable you get with different track conditions. It's been a while since I raced in real life, but I still sim race pretty much every night. It's the same deal there also, the more practice seat time I put in, the faster I get and the more consistent I get. My biggest issue is I hate practicing (insert puke emoji here) Most important though, just have fun. My dad got my brother and I started in racing at 8 years old. I almost 65 now and I still love to race. Also, enjoy the time you spend with your family doing it. It's time you will look back and treasure when you get to be your parents age. Trust me. P.S. Thanks again for the video Tanner. Thanks to mom and pop tanner also. These videos bring back a lot of fond memories for me. :)
Hey Carly .. watched this again and am still stunned just how fearless you are driving these things .. compared to tanner you look calm and not scared at all.. classic fearless and smooth is the word you... Did you ever watch that first w series race ... I looked it up a bit more u gotta be at least 18. And some other dum requirement with visa requirement.. but that all may change .. if not and In the meantime start contacting him or her Bruce Katlin Jenner or Stewart or andretti ..that's your way in to the ez money for you.... You can wipe every one of those racers bottoms with baby wipes easily....
Go out and have Fun! Please do not put a lot of pressure on yourself! Racing is Tough! Laps laps laps, learn learn learn, gain that experience! Try to improve each time out. Ill handling car is still in one piece, which makes for a successful first time at a new track.
Yep me too I agree Carly looked pretty smooth. Plenty of room to get better the next time that you go back to Chico. Thanks for sharing this video with us Carly until next time may you have a good one. Real quick before I forget will you Carly be racing in the speed week in the north west this weekend? Have fun take care :)
Good show Carly, Remember learn from every race win or lose take something home in your experience bank.Looking forward to seeing you race again. Take care stay safe.
As usual the presentation and filming are just EXCEPTIONAL! These kids are an example of how being authentically humble yet confident and working hard are fundamental essentials to happiness ON and OFF the track. Albert T.Bone Smutz ESQ. aka rodney david moses founder of Smutz Industries LOL !
For your 1st time there u did a great job with an ill handling racecar young lady! And on a side note, that mama bear jump and wrestle that you put on tanners wing after the crash was something I think the whole internet is talking about! Pitbull Carly, you go girl!!!
Racing in general is not easy. Stay after it. Ran high, maybe should've moved down. All in all, it takes laps to get experience. Cars in one piece. Great job!!!!
Made some great laps in traffic. Mentioned this on Tanners last video, y'all do killer when you don't let the traffic's pace dictate your pace. Look forward to the next race. ✌️ Wheelchair John in Idaho USA 😎
Carly, for the amount of experience you have you're doing really well. You need to be racing every weekend to really get to the next level. But as a family team that is hard as Tanner is running his schedule. Maybe after you get out of high school things will change to where you have a separate race team and able to travel separately from Tanner. If that is what you want to do. Anyway, just enjoy.
It’s Carly’s channel, my god let her decide who narrates what. It’s not that serious Charlie. These vids are for fun and to let us fans keep up with our favorite racers. Love the Holmes fam ❤️🔥
Incredibly good footage! How big are those motors? There is no biological reason a female dang drive one of these monsters but not a lot of them would have the nerve. A hell of a lot of men wouldn’t either including me.
Just wanted to thank you for doing the work of making a film of your racing for those of us who can't make the races. hope you two stay safe.
Good job...u r a fast learner with them older drivers

I love this track. Very tricky. It's bumpy, it's close quarters. It's fast. The drivers are very good and very experienced at bullrings.

Are you planning on going to Knoxville
